once a lifetime ago i went to aclinic with a girl freind, now remember i was in my early 20s, and we both thought it was the right thing to do at the time. there were protesters standing out side , very embarssing. shitty feeling afterwards for both of us, didnt talk for a day and half.
now almost 20 years later with a 5 and 6 year old i couldnt imagine life with out them, did i do the right thing back then? i really dont know after all it was her final decsion. later we had a misscarriage which totally sucked.
i am not really for it anymore, but it should and is up to the women to decide what is right for them

Abortion is mostly for those who are ignorant and irrisponsible. If your pregnant then have the kid. If your set against it, then at least have the abortion before the child is developed enough to build consciousness. It’s not a moral issue really. Morality is opinion but if your gonna have a kid I think you should take care of the kid. If your gonna be an ass and have an abortion, do it before the kid is developed enough to feel the pain.

The farther you question, the more they will hate you.

On abortion.
I’ve had one and tho i never would again, i still believe it is the woman’s final decision. I think there needs to be greater acceptance of single and young mothers and community education on a variety of issues within the abortion issue. As far as is known women have always practiced abortion and women will still practice abortion if it is illegal. I also think that people-especially young people- should have counselling before they have abortions. Some people i feel, could rely on abortion.
There are other options in some countries, like the “morning after” pill and encouraging contraception. There are such taboos surrounding these things in many parts of the world tho.

My Grandmother lost her uterus because of a backyard abortion. She already had my Dad. She desperately wanted the child but her circumstances would have offered it an awful life. She wanted a big family when she settled but was unable.

What i think is sick is these “right to lifers” trying to kill and threaten doctors and others involved with abortion. How does that figure?
I also think that discouraging the use of contraceptives is sick-mainly refering to parts of Africa and the like.

I have heard of several cases of women being raped and trying to seek abortions. One of them was a girl who lived/s(?) in Ireland. I think she ended up going to another country for the proceedure. Imagine going thru a rape and then having your government tell you that u have to have the child!!!
Looking after a child is the hardest thing i’ve ever done(2 children actually), and you need to be really prepared, ready and responsible. If society was more caring for children,single and young Mums, that would help too.

I’m not sure wot u mean by some of the other stuff, but i’m not into segregation of any kind unless it would be possible to segregate the logging industry from old forests.
