After Death

I’ve been around, I’ve seen a lot of different theories on this subject, and so i put the question to you.

what is your opinion about life after death?

note: i don’t want people posting to this with responses like

“Bible! love God, live heaven Jesus! like air! fuck now?"

or

“Stupid! like to kill! bible dumb shit squirt!"


I want intelligent responses, with your view and any evidence (That isn’t based in a 5000 year old children’s book of fables or the rantings of ultra liberal atheists) to support it.

no, i meant that i didnt want answers that were “the bible says it, i believe it, that settles it” i need evidence, tangible evidence that what you say may be true.

Well...that pretty much ends the entire topic if you need more than just writen word...who is going to have a definite clue as to what is after death?

There is no tangible evidence because nobody will or can know what death is like. Nobody has ever experienced it and came back to tell us. So pretty much the opinions and beliefs are the only things that can be posted on this thread.

Well im religious so I automatically believe that you either go to heaven or hell so that automatically cancels me out of this discussion...

After you die, you spend some time in your grave, then you wake up next to heaven and hell and then god decides which one you enter.

I’m weird, I believe that the pure of heart enter a higher plane of existance (kinda like heaven but no real god just a collective of entities that make rules and stuff) and the ones that aren’t pure of heart go through death which is really nasty and painful and creepy and stuff...totally like the unknown manifested into a room...
But that’s just my whacked out belief.

I am not christian, heaven and hell are also different religions, ya know

i dont want to get into an argument right now, so please just let this one be.

i beleave that if you have any sin in your life you will go to hell. seeing as that incompases everyone, i beleave everyones natural desteny is to go to hell. but, i beleave thier is a way out. i beleave that becouse God loves us, he sent his son to take our punishment and wipe our sins away, if we let him. if we do this, and only if we do this, we can go to heaven to live with God for eternity. why do i beleave this? well, first of all, i was raised a christain, so naturaly i try to stick to it. also, thier is historical evidence that their was a man Jesus Christ who was extreamly influential. that is a historical fact. also, it is obvious that the bible is very old. if anything it sais is right, then Jesus is the son of God. he could not have been just some profit, becouse no profit would have claimed they were the son of God. he could not have been crazy, becouse it would have been obvious that he was not sain. he could not have been lying becouse he preached for about 40 (?) years. it would be realy hard to fool people for that long. that is how i justify intulectualy what i beleave. but, thiers more to it. you can know something intulectualy, but not emotionaly. so, how can i do this? becouse, i beleave i have had devine experiences. it is unexcribable. up at camp, during worship, it was weird. i felt him... i felt God. thier was no dought in my mind. that is part of why i can justify doing anything for my faith. there are other similar experiences, but that was the strongest. that is why i beleave, in my heart, that i am right.

this is my beleaf. i realy dont want to get in an argument right now. so, if you could just let this be, i would realy apretiate it.
