A friend at the last meeting at the anime club i recently joined at my university, said that , at me mentioning that i was a meduim DBZ fan " Everyone has seen DBZ. Anyone who hasn’t seen DBZ has not seen an anime”

It cracked me up. So now as i go through OP, and lineup Yu Yu, Maybe Bleach, and more, i wonder. DBZ must be a intro anime for most, but what animes should someone see in their lifetime?

In this post-90’s anime, when Outlaw and Ronin clamor to get out of their graves...

I wonder if DBZ ,bleach and OP deserve the self-titles “big 3” name they have.

Well, they’ll be making money off of DBZ for decades to come. Dragonball Kai is evidence of that.

Dragon Ball Kai is a way to shove DBZ down your throat.

And no anime must be watched before you die.

The whole Shonen group seems to follow the same formula-i bet it does- but there’s nothing wrong with that.

Actually it DOES. I’ve seen Yu Gi Oh( the original, not ANY of the newer stuff, it wasn’t the same and i dropped it year ago) , SHaman King, and watched all of the first few major arcs of OP, and the formula is the same....kinda

Akira

'Nuff said.

And yeah, Shounen anime generally always follow the same formula, which makes them ultimately too hard to watch all the way through when I have better things to do.
