Are Americans Bad and Ignorant?

This is VERY serious. NO joking.

Now, why did I bother to make this stupid topic?
Because I’ve heard so many things about how bad Americans are from people like LeClair and I’m trying to find the truth.

Yes, we can as a whole be pretty rude because of our whole freedom of speech thingy we won’t shutup about and we can be greedy but are we really ALL greedy? Are Americans ALL bad?

The answer is no. Why no? Well, most of the time society only sees the BIG things and usually the BAD things. I don’t know why that is but it’s probably because bad and different unboring things that break the rules of ethics is what captures our attention.

People assume because of slavery, which was done by the souths and at the time there weren’t many people in the south we are all evil.

Many people fought for different reasons and many people joined the old Republican party to fight against slavery. There’s their answer. We are NOT all the same.

I don’t know how many people are living in the U.S. but to put it simple there are alot of people.

Niether Bush nor his opponents, Gore and Kerry are truely evil or ignorant. They all want the to achieve the same goal of bettering the country and have different ways of going about issues. Also remember, that most of the time niether the left wing nor the right wing are right or wrong in an ethical and moral sense.
Really, they just disagree but that does not make someone that disagrees with you evil or stupid.

Why do we have more than 1 party? Because we know that there are different ways to go about issues and only 1 party is not good. We also need in rough terms people to represent us because obviously not everybody in the U.S. can fit in 1 conference room.


Now what is evil and ignorant? No, not Bush or any of the democrats he ran against.
Murderers, thieves, dictators of tyranny, racists, and so on? Definitely.

Now think, how many Americans actually fall into that category? In a ratio not many. Very few Americans are like that.

How many Americans are on this site?
Now how many of these Americans actually are evil and ignorant?
How many Americans according to LeClair “don’t care about their own people”?
How many American don’t care about the world and want drop nukes all over?

So in conclusion Americans may be seen as rude pigs or as a whole may be rudes bastards but in the end we a truely not evil.

We’re just people like everybody else and no single country nor race is EVIL. Only individuals are individualy evil and ignorant.

All people are corrupt and evil in their own nature so generalizing in a simple group such as Americans is very silly. But yes Americans are ignorany, hypocritical, idiots, and most importantly ignorant as you said. We are very “brainwashed” to our own country and that keeps us in the thought of America is the best.

Not all Americans are like this but a lot are. We too much listen to what the government and media says and don’t look into what is really going on. Sad that we have all the resources such as Internet to know about the outside world yet never use them for better knowledge.

People are always assholes. no matter how good they say they are. americans smoke crack, weed, and they make fun of other races because they have something they dont. they dont have dignity for themselves so they make others feel bad. i know im making fun of americans but its the truth.

Liking 1 country over another does not equal brainwashed. That’s part of the reason why people are living in different countries. Because people have different preferences.

Being patiriotic is not brainwashed unless it is more important than family and doign what’s right at which point it is not REAL patriotism. It is radicalism.

As for corrupt how can a lot of us be corrupt?

Corrupt is not caring about anybody, abusing power, and commiting crimes.

Not many people are truely corrupt.
Everybody does something bad but that does not make them corrupt.
When it controls them then they are corrupt but most people it doesn’t.


Not alot of Americans in a ratio are like that.
A lot of Americans love their families.

As for media I think roughly 1/4 of the population just believes everything it says but with the whole don’t believe the media thing that is going around alot of peopel have learned to see pst what teh media says and look at the pictures and hear what the people involved have to say.

Also, there has to be point at which you trust somebody otherwise there is nothing left.
All there is is a bunch of conspiracies you can make up and everybody else is a liar.

Truth is people just say things how they see it. That doesn’t mean they are lying or brainwashing anyone.

there has to be point where we have to choose what to believe and at that point if we choose it on our own free will we are not brainwashed and believing everything. There only needs to be a poitn or the world would fall apart.

Also, the media has many different opposing stances with its multiple channels.

We just need to be able to define fact from opinion.

And so do the other countries. And there are places that have been doing far worse things for far longer than America.

In response to the original question-

Some Americans are, but most aren’t. You just don’t hear too much about the good people because most of the bad and ignorant fags are controlling the American media.

Didn’t think about that, did you?
