Are each of them more sci fiction or fantasy? Personally, I say DBZ is more fantasy even though it is centered around aliens because of the importance of the Dragonballs and Other World. Star Wars (at the movie versions, I haven’t seen any of the others) seems more sci-fi due to the lack of magic especially in wish granting and importance of an after life. What do you guys think
The only thing in DBZ thats hardly science-fiction is dr.gero’s research to create super-human androids and the cell project. An the other alien doctor who teamed up with gero in hell to create super 17, So it’s FANTASY nothing more.
Star Wars is all science-fiction alot of inspiration comes from it. Luke’s arm, the light-saber, the mobile air supply helmet from darth vader, and the X-wing fighters, and the death star.

Star Wars: Fantasy in a Sci-Fi setting. More Fantasy, though.
I agree with everything you guys said.
