wut is the difference between a shroom and an acid trip? which is better?

All because you have done shrooms/acid does not mean you are going to die. That is stupid to say. Of course, if you do it too much, like alcohol or tobacco, it is bad for you.

I have done neither, but friends tell me that shrooms distort visuals like make things “wavy” and “breathing”

Acid supposedly makes colors change and hallucinate more.

Shrooms last for maybe an hour or so. A decent acid trip will fuck you over for 12 hours or more.

No, shrooms last usually around 8 hours.

If you never tried either than why bother answering. Waste of time. I have done both of them numerous times. By numerous I mean well over 30 each (This was in college of course). I am not dead, I have a great job, been married for 8 years, and make good money. I have done many awesome things since then like traveled all over the world (30 countries to be exact) and lived abroad for a couple years.

I am absolutely fine. Now, not to say everyone will be. I do know someone who took their own life because the acid trip was bad and never went away. I have seen terrible injuries (including myself getting a nasty deep cut, but I was in no condition to go to the ER, so I waited ... it all worked out). Acid can awaken schizophrenia or other similar disorders if you are predisposed to them. IT IS NOT ALWAYS SAFE TO USE THESE DRUGS, nor do I condone their use, BUT, like I said, I am fine, though it IS risky business. That said:

Shrooms does produce many visuals. Objects can be covered with patterns and seem to 'breath'. The colors are mostly earthy colors that mix into the pattern. On shrooms, you can feel the way early man must have felt when they invented religions! Like Shrroom said, it can change your life, open your eyes. Shrooms can be very mental and visual.

Acid feels much more synthetic. For me there were more florescent colors, but still moving patterns and some 'breathing'. Different type of a head change from using shrooms, but it is SO hard to explain, you can’t really tell unless you try it.

So there you have it. Experiment at your own risk!

The problem is that acid can awaken certain dormant components of one’s psyche. This will elave you fundamentally different. And it is not possible to submerge thse components.

Ive been taking magic shrooms for years now, more before than now but I took my most resent brew last night and ive never felt like that before. My visions where beyond words and I seen a new way of thinking, the shrooms open up the other world and lets you see the truth. I unlocked the key to the universe and life just by listing to jimmy hendrix, secret messeges where passed to me and my friend or we interpreted it in that way. I will defenetly be taking them again sooner than later. Trust me when I say this, if you take them in the right enviroment you will find your self and the key to unlock the door to escape your controlled perceptions.

I’ve never done acid, I think I might soon just for the purpose of experimenting, I just know I’m not ready quiet yet.

I have done shrooms, and to put it simply, one of the best experiences of my life. I had a very spiritual experience. Visuals weren’t too intense, but very enjoyable. The hearts on my pj’s looked like they were growing and getting small again, but it eventually stopped. I did it with a friend which was awesome because we connected on a totally different level, plus it was very nice knowing that someone was there with me, not just physically but mentally. I loved sharing something that beautiful with someone. I just loved everything and everyone, and I was so relaxed, everything seemed to make sense.


Just make sure your ready and it’s something you want to do, do your research, be responsible about it and be safe.

i’ve done both and after looking at these answers the only ones that seemed right were by the expirementers, dont go by what you find on a site i’ve done shrooms and lsd i’ve done both the same time and not saying it was the smartest life choice but i loved the buzz, the way i see it you’ll either like the buzz or you wont but if your going to trust me do not be with alot of people just get a couple of friends and some green and relax for the day.
Days definetely better cuz night sjetches u out, i oversketched myself at a outdoor party on lsd once and began seeing spiders all over me but usually its just a mellow wavy buzz where you cant stop laughing and have the time of your life.
as long as your not paranoid about taking them you should be fine.

and to goodidea if you love shrooms you’ll love acid just as much just take 1 or 2 hits at the most starting
2 hits will have u good tripping (seeing shit, tripping, etc.) 1 will prob only make you laugh your head of i started off with 2hits though

Acid can give you a bad trip if you’re not mentally happy and everything in your life is going well. Shrooms are natural, not a man made chemical so you’re bound to trip on a good experience. Either way, you’re trippin' ballZ!

From what I hear, Acid gives you a “better” High, it last longer and I guess is more trippy.
But im pretty sure shrooms are easyer to get.
