The temperature of Heaven can be rather accurately computed. Our authority is Isaiah 30:26,
“Moreover, the light of the Moon shall be as the light of the Sun and the light of the Sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days."
Thus Heaven receives from the Moon as much radiation as we do from the Sun, and in addition 7*7 (49) times as much as the Earth does from the Sun, or 50 times in all. The light we receive from the Moon is one 1/10,000 of the light we receive from the Sun, so we can ignore that ... The radiation falling on Heaven will heat it to the point where i.e., Heaven loses 50 times as much heat as the Earth by radiation. Using the Stefan-Boltzmann law for radiation, (H/E) temperature of the earth (-300K), gives H as 798K (525C). The exact temperature of Hell cannot be computed ... [However] Revelations 21:8 says
“But the fearful, and unbelieving ... shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone."
A lake of molten brimstone means that its temperature must be at or below the boiling point, 444.6C. We have, then, that Heaven, at 525C is hotter than Hell at 445C.
There are 8 compartments of hell...or 8 floors of hell ..!! This is what a fix believer Buddhism will answer if u ask...!! But i`ll say ...its only self hell...!! Once u have a sin...u lost to ur inner mind that u already felt uncomfortable or guilty once u committed a sin...!! Those religious books said are just lure people with heaven to do good things...n threaten with hell not to do bad things...!! I think its aim is simple...but people really do take it serious...!!
Every time i heard these...i just remember what my granny used to say to me when i refuse to finish my meals....!!
Finish this meal or tha red 6 legged demons with 2 heads will eat u...
At that time i was thrilled like hell...n i finished those meals...!!

Some people just don’t understand the Golden Rule.
Actually it wasn’t even until the Puritans in 1600’s that Hell was even considered hot and fiery. It was thought to be cold and things like that because to the ancients and whatnot cold and darkness was the worst thing. Why? Because it depicted death of the surroundings and life. But the Puritans changed it around as a scare tactic so thus we got a fiery hell. Which is why Dante’s Inferno depicts Hell as not hot but cold.
And even moreso hell was actually supposed to be mean more or less the grave not really any place. Death was considered to be the ultimate punishment for your sins as eternal life was somewhat obtainable if you followed the rules. Thus death is the worse punishment. All these other things have simply been added on in the years as scare tactics to manipulate more people into joining. So religious eh.

1st para...I like this way of thought Zucas....!! Its the split thought...how challenging ....!! A Cold Hell...!! Yes i afraid of cold ..dull things...more than...firey...!!
i at this point think that i will just keep on doing good things and be a good person...so that way if i do get reincarnated i will be in a better postion(or if i’m lucky heaven) and if the christians are right then i go to heaven. so two paths are still open to me...but there may be iven more...but i just have to be kind in this life, and then i should have a good afterlife...and if there is no afterlife... i really didn’t do anything i would regret...so i lost nothing.
it’s a win win situation....due to the fact that doing bad things usually has bad repucutions...

I’m not shitting you. The ancient civilizations used to freak out when a solar eclipse would happen as they though the sun was never coming back. They also knew if a really cold and early winter came about their crops would not produce food and they would starve. This is why most early religions are based around praise of the sun as it gives light and warmth. These things were considered to be the highest things. Thus to them a fiery and bright hell probably didn’t sound as bad as one that was cold, damp, and dark.
