I miss those topics too. We’ll never know for sure why they’re gone, but I think that one of the reasons is that we ended up running off a few people we violently disagreed with, but who made for lively debate. Another is that some of the people who contributed to the “sensible and informative topics” got attacked by others on the site...and have seemed to stop posting as a result. Of course it could just be that people got busy with their lives...but I wonder if the “attacking” could have contributed.

Well what did everyone enjoy about the sensible topics. im sure if some of them came back again(the sensible topics) the remaining intelectual or just plain sensible members would contribute some worthy imput.

The “sensible” topics were the political, religious debates, etc. They kept people posting a lot...although sometimes people got mad at each other in them.

There were also topics about current issues and so on. The only thing though is since the members who were the most controversial have left, we may not be able to make those kinds of topics so active. Not much you can say if you all agree lol.

EACH PERSON ELECTS TO BE ON ONE SIDE THAT WISHES TO PATICIPATE.

I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO BE THE PRICK/NEGATIVE TEAM OF ISSUES AS I HAVE A FAIR AMOUNT OF EXPERIANCE IN DEBATE. EVEN IF I DO NOT AGREE ON THE SIDE I AM PLAYING, I CAN STILL PLAY DEVILS ADVOCATE AND PUT ACROSS SOME PRETTY CONVINCING ARGUMENTS AND ACT LIKE I WELL AND TRULY BELIEVE IN WHAT I AM SAYING.

I WOULD DO THIS, JUST FOR THE SAKE OF KEEPING THINGS INTERESTING..
