Goku improved after the buu saga because he was preparing for the reincarnation of buu to come. Not to mention Goku’s always training.

Sort of like when super buu and ss3 gotenks did it with their voices?:0

At the end of DBZ Goku surpassed both of them. No statistics or anything to prove that just common sence because Gokus always training.

Because Goku (other DBZ characters, not so much) trains efficiently to make sure those skills are some what proportional.
