How do i change the background on my site?

It only gives me two choices, a blue background and a custom back ground.

And both are the same.

Can someone help me?

you need to use HTML. First use an image editor like photoshop and make a pattern. Upload it to an image hosting site (yours probably provides it) and in the body add:

<background=“the URL of the image”>
