You can’t make a cold go away faster anyway. It’s viral, not bacterial. Your immune system only works so fast.

All you can do is temporarily suppress the agony but nothing can cure a virus.

Damn, where’s my spell check button.

Once you’ve got a full-blown cold you usually can’t make it “go away faster”. But there are some things that can help.

Hot tea, as mentioned above, is good for congestion and is very soothing.

Echinacea and/or red clover (you can get both in tea form) can help boost your immune system. Doing this is really more effective for preventing a cold, but it still can’t hurt.

I always think all herbs are better in tea form as it’s gentler on the system.

If you can get linden, it will also help you heal by increasing your body temperature thus making you “sweat it out”. DO NOT do this, though, if you have a fever or high temperature. I would recommend exercising caution with this herb.

and seriously for soar throat try honey in your tea or just straight up honey

For the most part, you can suppress the symptoms to a point that you don’t notice them, but you’re not actually well until the virus gets raeped by your immune system.

Yup honey does really work. Lemon juice can help too as it’s an antiseptic.

Also about the linden part I mentioned earlier...I edited that out of my post because I was thinking that I’m really not too sure about that one since I’ve never tried it on myself.
