Do you think they should not be hunted at all?

I think it’s ok to hunt for food - more so when the food is actually needed.

I just heard some dude say that fishing is ok but hunting is not.

Fishing; hooking a fish on it’s lip and dragging it out of the water by it’s mouth to an enviroment where it can’t even breath so it can be gutted right there on the scene while still flopping around.

Hunting; Quickly killing an animal with a single shot.

I agree with the majority as well. i don’t think it is right to hunt and kill for fun or joy. But doing it for food is natural and perfectly fine.

You might as well do something with the animal.

Hunters are amoung the biggest pussies alive. Killing an animal with a rifle is just pure cowardice.

If you want to hunt so bad, hunt another human being without a firearm. Then we’ll see how much you love the hunt.

Uhhh... what?

Dude, that’s fucking stupid. So killing an animal with a shotgun would be any better? Or an axe? Either way the animal doesn’t have any means to protect itself. And someone has to kill it anyway. And besides, if you hunt your own food it’s fresher and crap. No worse than eating an animal that was specifically brought up in a slaughterhouse pumped full of steroids for the sole purpose of killing.

Also, there’s not a lot of places where you can buy deer.

I think it’s ok to hunt for food and sport. Besides, it wildlife population control. How many people hunt for food? We don’t. If we didn’t hunt as often, the animals might use up their food resources, and starve themselves. It happens.

Just something to throw out there. There are a lot of regulations surrounding hunting. But many of us still don’t like to see the occasional wild animal get killed like this.

But how many masses of domestic animals do we kill for food? Why is it that a lot of people (vegans and vegetarians excluded obviously) don’t have a problem with these animals getting mass-slaughtered, but get upset if 1 deer is killed for venison?
