This post is wrong on so many levels.
The right to bear arms is not “stupid”. While the right is not intended for actual shooting of people and was originally intended for things as simple as hunting (or is hunting out of the question too?) the right is still there and retains its cause.
People have rights and people abuse those rights. Get over it. Want to take away free speech because some nuts want to protest against a gay person’s funeral? Take away freedom of religion because that person is a Christian? The fact that every once in a while someone goes on a killing spree doesn’t mean the right is a bad one.
Besides, if someone is willing to take a human life, or multiple ones just like that without really caring, they would have done it without a gun. There are other ways to kill people and if they really wanted to taking away guns wouldn’t do shit.

This entire topic makes me very sad but I suppose it is to be expected. I must say I haven’t been here in a while and I’d rather not have to post in such a somber topic (well it is somber to me), but I felt the need to at least make this comment.
All of you seemingly have no idea what happened and for that matter don’t care either. Although I can’t blame all of you for your lack of knowledge and obvious lack of careful thought about the matter I am quite annoyed to find that most of the people posting seem to think that they have an intelligent grasp on the situation at hand. To be honest it would be rather refreshing to see all of you at least attempt to pull some compassion out of those dark decrepit pits you call your humanity. In the end I guess it’s never good to expect anything more than a bunch of driveling teenage morons spewing forth more and more filth while thinking they are contributing something worthwhile. If any of you care to know why I am so disgusted well it is because i have many friends and people i know going to that school some of whom were personally involved and to see you talk about them in such a manner is so disrespectful as to make me wish it were all of you in that room instead.
Thank you to the few of you who can post something thoughtful and even insightful about the issues that an event like this deals with, as for the rest of you well you probably won’t see me post very often if ever as I rarely visit this site anymore so you won’t have to listen to me or flame me much past this. I hope just one of you can pull something out of this and perhaps choose to think of others as more than simple tools and worthless pieces of meat in your way.
Of course that is probably just wishful thinking on my part.
