This does not seem like a very dangerous situation. Maybe if the guy was in my house with a gun. Now THAT is dangerous.

I normally try to talk my way out of it. After all, violence is in the most part senseless and unnessicary. However if they are still hell bent on geting into a fight, I am more than happy to educate them in the error of their ways. After all, apearances can be decieving.

depends on who it is, if its a drunk guy, id walk away and watch him punch the air, if its a mugger with a gun, id piss myself

That situation isn´t dangerous.I would try to talk.If that doesn´t work.I would let him punch me.Then beat his ass up.

With the likelihood of this person being inexperienced in combat, up against myself who is reasonably experienced in CQC, I should have no trouble defending myself.

However, I use defense, not offense. So it’s more likely that I would walk away from the situation.

Try to talk him out of it and calm him down, if that doesn’t work just when he’s off guard just headbutt him or strike him in the throat with your fingers/palm (don’t punch the neck or hit it hard) to stun him for a second and run like hell. If I have a knife, probably just step back, flash it and threaten him and then move away without turning my back.
