Haha, you know I was thinking about getting an iPhone a while back but after I saw how damn expensive the phone bills were I just thought, fuck it. I’ll get an iPod Touch.
what’s the point of getting an ipod touch when if you save up a bit more money, you can get the iphone? and to pay for the bill, you can get a job. seriously, wtf is apple thinking? if you’re gonna put something like this out onto the market, make the price lower than the phone which has all of the same features.

Fuck the iPod touch. It’s a waste of money is what it is. You can get an iPod classic for the same exact price, but you also get a shitload of more memory. Hell, I think the classic even has a 120 gig model now, probably for the same price as the 16 gig touch.
Don’t waste your time on it. You get a nice screen and you can touch it (and also get gross finger prints on it ruining the screen), and wifi, because I like to surf the net on my mp3 player, LOL.
Also, the iPhone’s shit anyway. It doesn’t have voice dialing and the camera doesn’t even have a flash, plus a whole bunch of other shitty design flaws.
Get an iPod classic or a different mp3 player (they have really nice ones that do the same as an iPod but loads cheaper).

I’m not one of those people who will buy a 30 GB iPod and only use up 1GB of it. I don’t need a shitload of memory. I mean, who the fuck actually listens to 10,000 songs? Let alone pay for all of those.
I like the iPhone, but I don’t like the bills you get after buying it, and I have a cell phone anyway. Plus I’m not switching over to AT&T. What the iPod Touch lacks in what I won’t even use a lot of (memory), it makes up for features.

If you have the option to pay the same amount of money for two things meant for the same purpose, but one has more memory but a few less features, it’s just common sense to get the better one.
I mean honestly, the ipod touch is like the fucking PSP. Has a whole bunch of shit in there you just don’t need. Browser? My computer, laptop, cell phone, etc. all have that, I don’t need it on my mp3 player, and neither do you.
Seriously, the iPod is an MP3 PLAYER. It’s not a pocket PC.
The Touch doesn’t even have many more features. It has a browser and a touch screen, and Apple makes shit touch screens (you can’t use a stylus, in that they won’t work at all with it).
If you want something with a web browser, wifi, can play mp3’s, and all that shit, get a PSP. It even costs less.

Didn’t you read what I said? I won’t use all 30+ gigs. All that memory to me means nothing if I’m not even going to use all of it. 8 gigs is more than enough for all the songs, videos, and pictures I’m going to use. And I plan on using all of the iPod Touch features.
The reason I like it is because it’s innovative. It’s never been done like this on an iPod. Apple can always add more memory but their innovation is what I’m usually interested in, and is what made the iPod so popular. Innovation. Touch screen, accelerometer, cover flow, landscape view, multitouch, Youtube, Safari, WiFi iTunes, and Starbucks Music are only a few examples of the innovation that I’m interested in and why I would choose this over a classic iPod.
And I would relate the iPod Touch more to the Nintendo DS and the Classic iPod to the PSP. Why? Because Nintendo DS and iPod Touch are the innovative ones, it shows when you look at the touch screens.
To me the classic iPod would be a bigger waste of money since I wouldn’t be able to use all of those gigs. In the long run it would cost me more money buying songs and videos trying to fill up all those gigs. With an 8 gig iPod Touch I won’t feel pressured to buy tons and tons of songs and videos in order to reassure myself that all those gigs weren’t a waste of money.
The iPod Touch would be the PSP of iPods. A bunch of fancy features that look nice, and they’re shiny, cost more than they are worth, and have a shit load of features that are useless on an mp3 player.
The PSP sucks because it tries to be everything at once. Web browser, media player, and a video game console. And while it’s all nice, it doesn’t help the main function it was MADE for, which is to either play games or mp3s.
All the features on the touch do nothing for it as an MP3 PLAYER. Is it THAT hard to understand? Not to mention, you still pay $300 for only 8 gigs and some features. You’re getting ripped off badly.
As far as filling it up. It’s called torrents. I have tons of music, videos, podcasts, and movies on my iPod.
But if you want to waste your money on the PSP of mp3 players, go right ahead. It’s your money.

I already have a 30 gig iPod, I just think it would be cool to have an iPod touch that you could mess around with when your bored.
