My condolences Rachel on your best friend dieing but doyn’t kill yourself. I know I can’t say I know how you feel about losing a best friend but I do know what it feels like to lose a good friend. My friend died of cancer last year. He was way too young, he was 24. He was a good friend and I still miss him.

Would your friend Marsha want you to kill yourself. Grieve as long as you need. Keep her alive in your thoughts and memories.

That’s really sad. I know how it feels to lose someone that important. My best friend died when I was 13.

Rachel, try to think of happy memories you and Marsha had. Did you ever sleep at her house? Did you ever go to the mall/movies with her? Those memories should cheer you up, remember: I know what it’s like to lose a best friend.

No matter what others say or have been through it will not alter your pain, but many of us know how you feel sweetheart - my mum and dad died in a car accident when I was 4 and if I told you the rest you would not believe how bad things can get.... but I’m still here honey and so are you.

Like other members have said, think of what you had and value it - do not belittle it by throwing it away. Your friend would have fought for her life I am sure if she had the chance - don’t give yours up without a fight. The poem below may sound trite but it is true - your friend will always be here in some small part cos she lives on in the hearts and minds of the friends and family that knew and loved her...

I lost my best friend of 12 years it was hard and still ic ry everynight begging for her to come back adn i miss her so much but i have to accpet she is gone in person NEVER in my thoughts and memories Rachel your friend marasha is with you rioght now watching over oyu drying your tears
