I’m seeing 15 off-topic to 3 lounge right now. How is that possible? In http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/34608p1.html it was like 12 pro-lounge to 0 pro-off-topic to 3 “what"s and 1 bka-hangout.

Yeah, I’m with Maggot. I’m more in favor of a member’s only section being called the lounge and keeping Off-Topic the same.

look at bant car dice’s friend list too see all my accounts some are banned right now and some are perma banned

Would the voting have been different had I posted this in feedback?
I understand polls can be used for humor too (Bjarne seems to have set the trend with Canada), but I was hoping to get a genuine sense of how the people who make up the bulk of the site felt about the naming of their category.

Off-Topic is better, it explains the point of the forum.

I was going to refer Bjarne to this thread for the final concensus, but given how biased the voting turned out, I’m doubtful of its validity.
Maybe we should just have a normal thread, and count only well-known members' (text) votes? (with regulars reporting aliases/duplicates)
