Watermelon Man - It would be wise not to mess with this one until you reach a level or respect that anything you ay or do will not be argued with, seeming as no one has this power yet it would be wise to avoid WM unless you want your stupid ass driven off the site.

Hell, look at me, pretty prime example. Look where I am now.

Iunno sometimes, confuses the fuck out of me that’s for sure. So complex, used to be so simple.

It’s elitism. I’ve seen it and still seen it. Even to myself now on other forums, though I try to pay it no mind at all.

We all have to work our way up. It’s usually survival of the fittest at some points. You’re either with us, or basically fucked in the ass.

Yeh. IMO it was best when there weren’t these factions or divides of “with or against”. Hell I was a hellian back in the day, didn’t fit with just about anyone, but t’was great.
Course, you want an example of that... -pointing to list of forums on side of post page-
Iunno, may have seemed chaotic back in the day, and cluttered, but there were like, no divides, and no real reason to have any. Least till I fucked it up haha.

I saw some of those posts. I like to read old threads every now and then for interest, and/or for the lulz. I was a little bastard myself. No need to lie about that, haha.

Yeh. I remember one thread I posted back in the day; had it been posted today it’d've been locked and flamed the shit out of beforehand. But, back then, it just worked. No divides, at first glance may have looked chaotic, and maybe it kind of was, but it was the nice kind. So little rules, so little reason to get angry or frustrated, and if you were angry, it was because of some fucktard videogame.
-shrugs-
Organized mass confusion - there’s the perfect definition.

Anyway, tis back in the day, need to get back on track. Anything else?

Yep, but it’s good to lock back every now and then for a laugh.

I’m asking some members who resident certain sections of the site to summarize how it goes down in the section that they frequent. Would you like to contribute for off topic?

Eh, nowadays it’s sort of a gloomy reminisce. IMO place is a shithole compared to then. (would’ve loved to be moderating back then, for sure)

Meh. I could try, but right now I doubt I’d be able to come up with anything, esp. without a starter.

I don’t think it was any better back then. I think it’s just, you were so accustomed to the stuff back then and then you matured, and the new generation came in. I just think the “downfall of mvc” was probably seen back in 05. You know, back when the 05 members were dominating. The 06 members are like the 09 members today. lol Do you know what I mean? It’s like parents. “Oh this next generation is going to be the end of the world." but it never is.

I know what you mean. It was just this certain feeling of just... I can’t really explain it myself. It was just good. Now... The spark’s not there anymore, just a flicker.
