should a mom work

i am asking should a single mom be forced to go to work if she has 3 kids at home that need her to be there..

if she goes to work,,and has no experience what so ever in nothing,plus she is at an awkward age,so that means minimum wages,and if she does have to go who will take care of the kids after school,,,and their homework,,,plus all the housework she has to do make sure everyone has clothes for the day,,make lunches,,do the dishes,,pick up after the kids cause even thoo you tell them they wont,,,then do all the shopping to make sure everyone is fed right,,

yes you have guessed its my dilema

I had a friend that had a mother that neve went to college, didn’t graduate from high school, and went off to marry a guy in his 40’s (who had married twice before) when she was 18. She had no job, no experience, and all she did was housework. Then, the father decided tat he was going to dump his wife and leave them, taking the house because he was the only one who could afford a lawyer, so he took advantage of them and took pretty much everything they owned. Now, the mother is working at a Starbucks trying to support 2 kids and trying to pay for the rent of a 1 bedroom apartment.

If mothers do not work, and they just sit at home and pamper their kids, what will they do in a divorce? They wouldn’t be able to go to college because they’d never be able to pay off their loans and they would end up leaving their kids alone anyways in the end.

So... ALL MOTHERS SHOULD WORK!!!

Yes any body that is able to work shod work.

If you have young children then I would say no you shod stay at home and look after them and be a mum.

If you have older children then you shod be aboul to trust them on there own for a bit like say from the age of 14.

My mum worked when I was 11 and I think that is a bit early. But I did learn how to feed my self and look after my self better.

i have two solutions for you that my mother has done
while i was in preschool she stayed at home, but this didn’t mean that she didn’t work, she worked from home since most of her work could be accomplished on a computer, and you can also work part time, so you can be home to pick up your kids in time

plus id i do work on minimum wages i cant even afford an apartment,,what will my kids do then

plus the housework who will do that

oh and yes i have a 14 year old but he gets here after the 2 little ones my daughter can’t get here alone shit she is only 5

That true as well, but sometimes you do need some help and not just with the home work. I been there and I know but then I am very independent know.

The real question is:

Can you support your kids? Can you supply them with a roof over their head, food, school, etc.? I hate to say it, but if the answer is no, they need to be with somebody that can.

My mother was 16 years old when I was born. Her and my father divorced when I was 5 and she went out and got a job for min. wage working in the deli at a grocery store. She cooked, cleaned, payed the bills and even read my little sister and I bed time stories at night. Since then she dragged us through 4 divorces, but she always managed.
