Site Maintainence (updated)

Bjarne: This post was made by goldenraptor alone. There is no “official” maintenance period. A lot of spam was posted recently. Spam is generally not allowed. When I say generally, it means just that. Occasional spam posts I mostly ignore, repeated spam is when action must be taken.

First, let me say you can still post on this site.
Next, let me say that we (mods) are going through to clean the site temporarily, because it has been very hectic.
Third, I don’t expect this to last a long time

Just out of curiosity - does this mean the site will be going down at all? Or is this just a warning to us that you will be going thoroughly through the threads to look for problems? Thanks

The site will be fine in terms of reliability. What I meant to say was that there would be more hate/anger topics for a few days, until everything if fixed.

Carl- stop this all. We are not understanding. Why must my revenge upon a certaing group of people affect an entire forum. They didn’t do wrong. The people of the Revo Sucks forum did and I did. This is caused by my bloodthirsty want for revenge. I achieved that and with all intentions were right. I did what I felt needed to be done so I took the laws into my own hand. Yes there is a problem with excess topics but let’s not change what has made Moviecodec so special. Don’t let my actions affect everyone. I mean I’m gratefully sorry for what my simple want to lock a topic has caused but I did it cause I knew it was the right thing to do. I knew what they did was against the rules of this site and against my moral rights. I’m sorry I took the law of these forums into my own hand and I regret that it has come to this. But let’s not take it farther. Let’s keep moviecodec to why it was so great. A cleanup is necessary but please don’t ban anyone who revolts against this cleanup. It is not their fault they just have yet to understand.

Gosh I’m so confused with what I want done. But all I’m asking is do not ban any of the good users here. That’s all I’m asking. And if someone has to be banned then let it be me cause if anyone it is me and the people of the Revo sucks thread that have done wrong.

I’m exactly aware of the exact posts made in there either, but it was serious enough for the thread to be locked, and ever since, the whole forum has been hell.
