If time travel were possible, and if you could only go one way (not return to the present day), which would you choose - go back into the past, or go forward into the future? And how far back/forward? What specific period in time interests you?
You’d remain the age you are now when you go back/forward and live out the rest of your days.
If I kill my parents before they meet, will I cease to exist, meaning that I wouldn’t kill my parents meaning that they’ll meet and I’ll be born and travel back in time to kill my parents...? (My... head...)
I think the universe will cease to exist instead of allowing this paradox...

Lol... I would probably go with you, I mean if I had a sniper riffle I would most certainly
Take out hilter before he starts evading other country’s, would that change history or something.
The era of the dark ages or feudal japan. I could quite happily live out the rest of my days fighting and feasting. Its where I belong, not in this damn time I am stuck in at the moment.
I’d most definitely go back in time. But what exact period is too hard to decide on. There are so many eras when monumental things occured. Yet would you want to live thru them for the rest of your days?
For instance, I would be so interested in going back to the dawn of man, to see how we all started. Yet life expectancy was like 20 years or so. No TV, no Internet, no babes lol, no video games etc. It’d be such a culture shock and having to run for your life with so many prehistoric man-eaters around.
Or going back to the times of the Knights Templars. But again would I want to live out the next 50 years in a time of much savagery and brutality?
The time of Jesus another interesting period. To see what really happened etc.
There are too many to decide between and the past was always far more barbaric and hostile and lacking the freedoms and pleasures of today.
I also would be reluctant (tho interested) to go into the future and see potentially our Earth in ruins and the same lack of pleasures, barbaric savagery, etc. Not sure if the future of the Earth is golden at all.
IMO, clearly people of the era 1950’s - 2000’s are living in potentially the best period ever for freedoms etc. That’s obviously not entirely true for the billions of people in poverty etc. But for us in the Western world, it’s been quite good really considering what life was like for the masses in the dark ages etc.
Lol, so in other words, you’d go back in time...but only like a week or two, fill in those lotto results, and live out the rest of your life (minus two weeks) being filthy rich?

Well if you went forward in time they would have time machines their and you can come back.
Hypothetically they could. But hypothetically they mightn’t either...if like, a ww3 or natural disaster (comet) happened and life was like the prehistoric times again.
We all know Titor. There was a recent swedish guy who posted a cell phone video of him supposedly in the future with his older self. But that’s easily destroyable.
