About Cid becoming a mod. This has gone on long enough. I want you guys who have concerns to post them in an orderly, and professional manner. I do not want to see any flaming got it? Go.

No one even said he’s becoming a mod.

He’s had a chance.

He resigned once (which I think should be a one-way street).

He got “hacked”.

Site doesn’t need any new mods.

Other people are more deserving and would make better mods anyway.

I have no concerns, although controversy is lulz approved, it gets old when it’s the same shit every day. He was a good mod, but then again, maybe he shouldn’t be moderator. He seems intent on banning Xtrm if he gains the rank of mod again.

Somewhat, Though Xtrm may just be an easy example for him to use.

TR is definitely the main one logged in.

But again, we don’t really need another mod. It wouldn’t hurt, obviously. But no real need. If it was like the older days when the site was always attacked by spammers and threatened by hackers, sure. But now, everything is too quiet.

Yes, however section mods are proving quite useful in their respective sections. Not to mention we have no way of knowing when the mods simply aren’t on or may just be lurking. But the combination of Wolf/Ty/GR/Dante as the mpds that seem to be on most frequently seems to be doing fine. There’s obviously no way mods can be on 24/7, so even Cid’s whole “Xtrm posted nudity” thing is basically a moot point since it could basically happen again, even if he is made mod.

To put it in a less verbose way (aka: tl;dr): The mod team works just fine now, though there is always the chance for a “breech” since it’s impossible to have the site on 24/7 surveillance.

i dont see how you can say that we dont need new mods when the mods we have are rarely online... i see Etain, Dante, and Ty on... occasionally Firewolf, and lately i have rarely seen anyone else on...

I agree. I just think that section mods should have at least the capability of reading IPs of guests, or members posing as someone else on alt accounts, etc, but as SA-X, or another mod has said, only be able to give out 1 hour bans for now.
