How old are you? Are you in a relationship?

How is it hard to respect women?

Um, I think not respecting women would be the very definition of chauvinistic wink.

But as for the cheating part...sooner or later that will catch up with him. Women talk, and it can give a guy a reputation.

Nah I’m not in a relationship right now. The reason I have a hard time respecting women is because a lot of the women that I’ve grown up around have less than desirable personality traits. A lot of them are really fickle and shallow and their morals are questionable to say the least. I mean I guess saying that I have trouble respecting all women is going a little far but as far as the ones in my general area go yes.

Yup. When we’re upset with a guy we tell our friends, our mother, our sister’s friend’s hairdresser’s sister....

That is really too bad, man..

And yes I know what you mean about those chicks who have less then desirable personality traits and are shallow. They usually end up in one night stand situations or heart broken. The world balances itself out.

Unfortunately, having a sour outlook on women will make it very hard for you to find a quality woman as you will look on the negative side more then positive. I encourage you to work on changing your outlook and becoming less chauvinistic as it is.

Well the reason I said he’s not as chauvinistic as I make him out to be is because the only women that he habitually shows disrespect for are women his own age. He respects older women like his mother and his aunts and you know just older women in general but you see the thing is he really has a hard time respecting them because his whole life they’ve just thrown themselves at his feet without much incentive. I mean how can you expect a guy to respect women his own age if they’ve just been throwing themselves at him since he only 12 years old?

I didn’t say it wasn’t. He doesn’t have my respect because of that he has my respect because we’ve been friends since childhood. I’m not gonna stop being someone’s friend just because he’s a pig.

I understand he may have run into some less than desirable women. But, that doesn’t mean he can blame all of his problems on other people. At some point he has to take responsibility for his own attitude.

And FYI I’ve known several guys who have had women throwing themselves at them from a very young age who have absolutely no problems respecting women.

wink.

- Unfortunately, the ability to be able to get a girlfriend does not excuse behavior to act like a pig.

When it does, let me know.

Yeah I mean I do think that just having a sour outlook on all women isn’t a good way to be I mean women make up a very large part of our population so not respecting them would cause a problem in my everyday life.

Well to each his own. Not every guy can be hyper sensitive you know it takes some longer than others. He has improved a little I mean he won’t admit it but he has, his actions have come back to bite him before and now he’s at least not dumb enough to repeat some of his past mistakes.

And sometimes they post it on here - actually, some guys post it on here themselves ... I seem to remember ...

It’s because bad boys know how to make hambugers.

“Seeing someone build a burger upside down has the same effect on me as does the fingernails-on-chalkboard sound. <shudder>

Obviously, the bun bottom comes first. Then the meat. Then the cheese, right on the burger, so that it gets nice and melty. The the veggies. I usually only use tomato and lettuce (in that order - helps the tomato stay stationary on the melty cheese, otherwise it slides around on the lettuce). But this is also where you’d put onions, pickels, peppers, etc. Then your condiments - mayo, mustard, ketchup, relish, whatever. Then the top of the bun.

Now, I’m not proud of this, but I did work at McDonald’s for three years when I was a teen, so I guess you could say I have “professional” experience ;-) Here’s how a few of their burgers are built (or at least, were back in the late 90’s). Everything is listed in the order you’d see it on the completed burger, top to bottom.

Cheese/Hamburger:
bun top
mustard
ketchup
1 pickle
reconstituted onions
[cheese]
burger
bun bottom

Double Cheeseburger:
bun top
mustard
ketchup
1 pickle
reconstituted onions
cheese
burger
cheese
burger
bun bottom

Quarter Pounder with Cheese:
bun top
mustard
ketchup
2 pickles
slivered onions
cheese
burger
cheese
bun bottom

Big Mac
bun top
burger
2 pickles
reconstituted onions
big mac sauce
bun middle
burger
cheese
reconstituted onions
big mac sauce
bun bottom

(For some reason, every promotional photo of the big mac you’ll ever see always shows the onions on top of the meat. This is a lie. A lie I tell you!!)

Big Extra
bun top
mayonaise
ketchup
lettuce
tomato
[cheese]
burger
bun bottom

I’m not 100% sure on that last one - the MBX was introduced a few months before I finally quit.“

Now that’s hawT!
