My example of Emo is simply what it stands to represent outside of the music. The culture is my example. And as a secondary example, the one’s that are packing guns like you mentioned.

Shooting someone with a gun IS weak. You think it takes a strong mind to shoot someone? You think the thugs are the street packing guns are big tough guys too because they shot someone that wouldn’t give them their wallet? Fuck that. They are weak because they have to rely on the power of a gun to make them feel powerful, and even more, take “control” of their lives.
Defending your life or others lives with a gun is one thing... but being and aggressor with it to get what you want in life is, if I haven’t already made this clear enough.... WEAK

of course not everyone gets their ego damaged, but many do. And it is idiotic to shoot someone over being insulted. Acting on feelings they may be, but the temptation to grab a gun is due to feeling powerless or having very little power... hence WEAK.

if they went off to war and shot people there then thats something , but walking around shooting unarmed people down doesnt require anything impressive from a person , what little " strength " they may be exhibiting is likely empowerment from having a weapon. Its not inner strength , its strength gained from an artificial source
