I’m thinking of adding a few upgrades. I’ve already updated my laptop to 2GB of RAM.

Some (see: very few) laptops allow for you to upgrade the processor and video card.

RAM is just about the only thing that can be upgraded on all laptops. You may want to read up on whether your laptop is capable of being upgraded or not.
