Does someone on here use photoshop cs4?

I just got photoshop cs4 and im tryin to learn some stuff...somebody got some techniques to share?

Gradient map, Channel mix, Hue and saturation can make a picture look cool too.

you can use the paintbrush to draw stuff.

I can do a whole bunch of stuff but im tryna learn like lighting and energy balls
