How Many Users Here Have A Mental Disability?

I’m curious. And I’m talking about any kind of differenciation.

I’ll give you an example, as a child I was diagnosed with autism. That is a mental disability, but it doesn’t mean I’m retarded or cannot function in normal life.

Hm, I used to take Anger Management courses. I still have alot of anger but I have learned to control it better. Its not really a handicap but it can get in the way. I tend to have sudden emotions of distress in which causes me to act out with aggresion. Of course I am on pills and Hockey/Working out helps release stress.

Probably are.

Aspergers isn’t a one size fits all illness. There are a great many aspectsto it and they can vary greatly form case to case.

For example, I see patterns and objects in everyday things like text, the carpet, dirt and the like. I can not stare at a one coloured surface for more than a few seconds as it makes me see sparkly artifacts everywhere and it gives me a massive headache. I can look at a group of objects say a bunch of scattered matches or coins or even hundreds and thousands and tell you in around 2 seconds how many of each item there is..stuff like that.
