People are what their envoronment and pbringing dictate it to be. Sure they ( the people in question) shouldn’t be so wanton as to fire guns in public at eachother, but for these people, their life is a war. They struggle to survive in a society that does little to change their circumstance and then point the finger at them accusingly when they reach adulthood and contince their ways.

Its almost like training a dog to attack and then blaming it when it does. The fault lies within society. Change the laws and rules of society and you’ll change the individuals.

Personally I don’t agree with many of the messages conveyed in many of the modern day rap songs, but thats what sells. The rappers know this. They mostly do it for the money and the fame. It your lyrics sell to impresionable young people who feel angsty and threatened in their lives, the rapper gains said money and notoriaty.

Their actions may be careless and unjust, but they are the product of society, which is the real cause of blame, not the individuals.
