I myself have felt that if I were to leave everyone and start out again on my own that I would be happier, but realistically, we have to take care of our obligations. Some of us have family to take care of, and all of us would have bills to pay. So, unless you are independantly wealthy, or you plan to find a partner with money to take care of you (which defeats the purpose), you will need to finish school and get an income. Then, once you have a base, you can start pursuing your dreams.

finishing school is not an issue. Im a senior.
Its the Dream itself that’s a problem.

Pursue your goal after you got yourself an education. I mean you haven’t even finished high school yet? Think about it, at least finish high school, get certified to do something, at least SOMETHING then pursue your goal.

I am finishing school.
even tho most of the people in the field of work I wish to pursue never finished highschool.

Think of school education as a backup. If I could run off, train with MMA fighters and fight competitively and ensure a living for the rest of my life.
I would.
But no, before I consider to do MMA full time I have to do SOMETHING to ensure my future. My fighting career could end with a simple injury.

Well, I have made mistakes in my life. Some I have corrected later on and some it is too late to correct.

Like I said, think about all the positives and negatives with following your dream. Don’t do anything you will regret and don’t NOT do anything that you will regret not doing later.

If you can handle it financially, I say follow your Dreams. We only have one life, and you should do what brings you happiness.

Well Captain C, you’re a senior now and you are well on your way to graduating, right? Have you picked out some colleges? Applied for to those schools and scholarships/financial aid?

As many have said, education is KEY to a person’s future. Yes, there are some people who have made it big without them, but there are many more who haven’t. With education and a degree, you can fall back on it and be able to get a job as your qualifications are up. There have been many people that can’t be promoted because they aren’t “qualified” for the position, even if they know they can do it.

Another thing is that you need a support system. You need someone in your corner that will of course support you financially (school) but also emotionally. And you have to be able to be OK with yourself. That is, have peace being with YOU. If you don’t have peace with yourself, it’ll constantly be a thorn in your side and eat away at you.

So yes, even though we live in countries that food is readily available and most of us live in a house/apartment, we still have some trials to get through life. However, it doens’t have to be so hard and troublesome. We have one life to live, and we can’t waste time on things that can destroy us in the future or destroy our inner peace.

Does that answer your question kinda sort of?
