I just bought a new labtop - Acer Aspire 16.8"

It was around $600

What do you guys think?

Very good laptop. Even good to do some minor gaming with (if you even want to).

Definitely worth it. Has 320GB of hard drive space, so you can have plenty of files. 4GB so your programs won’t bog it down. And the processor is really good too, at least in a mobile machine.

It’s for school right? If so, hell yes. Although I’d prefer that the operating system was a more professional-oriented version of Vista, but that’s just me. What are you studying in school...?

Well I am getting into the trades, I have two courses (Computer Application, Is that Ethical?) I also will be using it for the trade programs.

I am currently on a dell right now, I am getting the laptop up and ready with Windows and what not.

I was going to say, you can get a discount price on Windows 7 if you were studying for a computer-related career, but I don’t even know if Microsoft’s offer applies to Canada anyway.

But yeah, that computer is perfect for school, if that’s what it’s for. Should run any application just fine.

Good specs, as for gaming, you could play some good FPS games if your classes get boring as fuck. Maybe some crysis warhead or deadspace. HDD good for pr0n to look at snickering to yourself and your class buddy.
