I somehow deleted the standard windows zip extractor

How can I fix this???

Seriously though, go to your control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components... And look for it there.

How am I to find something whose name I know not and whose existence isn’t existing.

It wouldn’t be there. It disappeared after I installed Stuffit and then uninstalled it. I’m thinking stuffit changed what zip files should be associated with but didn’t change it back...

Right click on a zip file, screenie it, and post it. I’ll do the same and I’ll show you my problem.

Uhhh... You can either try to manually locate the program or just download a new program..
