This is a re-post of Indalecio’s thread that I hope is more organized and actually contains all of the information I intended. Most of these ideas are originally mine, as well.
Countries:
Map not to scale
Carillon is the name of the continent, divided into three main countries:
Illyria, to the north, is home to most of the Buddhist-like mages and magical peoples. The country is extremely peaceful and pacifistic, having no militaristic capabilities and only using what materials they say nature allows them to. Despite this nature, Illyrians closer to the south have a noticeable influence from their neighbouring country, Casuria, having made their magic into what appears to be technological inventions, such as teleportation pads. Farther up north, the Casurian influence is non-existent, and the Illyrians there are significantly closer to nature and their Buddhist-like beliefs. There, they have various temples in the more mountainous and significantly colder regions, and focus greatly on the religious aspect of their magic. Due to this, Illyrians are widely considered the most powerful magic users in Carillon, even surpassing the Draekyrians. Though all Illyrians are said to be one with nature, those in the north are significantly more so, and the temples can be nearly impossible to find by the untrained traveller. Politically, the Illyrians are the only peoples without a government, and are able to exist with the other countries and nature without one. Geographically, the country occupies the northern third of the continent, stretching to both coasts and reaching far to the north.
Casuria occupies a majority of the western coast and central continent below Illyria. Unlike Draekyrians and Illyrians, Casuria has no magical capabilities of their own. Instead, they are geared toward human technological advancement. The Casurians have developed into the use of gunpowder for many things and have recently discovered the use of steam, using both in some primitive ranged weapons such as pistols. Most often, these are used in more common devices, such as trains. Despite this, they still have a fairly medieval way of life, with common weapons being longswords and rapiers. Casuria, with the largest population, is also the most diverse in people and cultures and formerly the largest geographically, once occupying much of central and western Carillon and taking nearly half of the entire continent. Casuria is said to be the most aggressive of the trinity of countries. They are one of the two countries with a visible political base and the only one with designated cities, townships and districts. After the Carillon War, their territory was halved to accommodate a neutral zone in the centre of the continent.
Draekyria, taking up the remaining east coast and and southern areas, is the main home of the Dragons. The people are nearly as diverse as Casurians, some Dragons being extremely violent, while others are pacifistic like the Illyrians. They live in tandem with nature, much like the Illyrians, and use magic as well, albeit in significantly different forms, such as to assist in hunting. They are not as pacifistic as Illyrians, but are significantly less aggressive overall than the Casurians. Draekyrians are often said to be the median between Casurians and Illyrians because of this. Draekyria, like Casuria, has a political structure, though unlike the latter, their country is not divided into townships and, instead, the political structure is used to unite the Dragons and other diverse peoples. Despite the similarities to Casuria, and the closer physical contact, Draekyria considers itself to be significantly closer to their northern neighbour, Illyria.
History:
Carillon, the peaceful and diverse continent, was officially split into three separate countries by the year nine-hundred. People moved to these countries - Illyria to the north, Casuria to the west and central, and Draekyria to the east and south - with their families and respective people. Eventually, cultures and beliefs began to arise, which began to divide the three countries and make each one of them unique. Throughout the generations, these countries existed peacefully; with no reason to quarrel and understanding each others' beliefs, they kept to their own business. Peace was disrupted in Casuria by the year 1250, where the government in power, analysing how the country was run, chose to put in a monetary system in place of the traditional trade system that was used all over the continent. Many of the peoples in the west were displeased with this, and began a marching revolt toward the capital, collecting supporters along the way. When news spread to the capital, the government expelled the monetary system and stepped down peacefully, allowing the opposing party, led by Maverick Vandeer, to take control in place.
Upon reviewing the properties of the monetary system, Vandeer noticed a great deal of what he saw as improvement and advancement, both for himself, his fellow politicians, and the country. By the next year, he managed to convince his government below him that the monetary system was beneficial, and was able to re-enact the system, to the displeasure of many of the Casurians. Idolizing the idea, Vandeer ignored comments from the opposition and actually had them expelled from the parliament by force. Initially temporary, it became permanent, which caused uproars elsewhere in the country that wished for democratic representation. Able to utilize the monetary system for his own benefit and growing greed, Maverick had these uproars forcibly quelled with military power for the first time in the year 1253. In the following three years, a small civil war broke loose in Casuria, which Vandeer was easily able to demolish, completely taking reign of the country. Several dozen people died in the small war, while hundreds were arrested. These actions were watched by both the Draekyrians and, more importantly, the Illyrians with growing tension, worried if the new tyrannical leader had any moral boundaries in his mission.
With complete power over the country, and the monetary system allowing him to keep his grip on the people, Vandeer began to look to the other countries. The system needed resources to use and develop, which would also further the development of Casuria itself. Thus, Vandeer’s main focus was aimed toward the northern state, Illyria. He initially failed in political attempts to get them to adopt the monetary system in 1256, which was made no easier by the Illyrian’s lack of a political system. Knowing of the rich resources, and obsessed with his system and the advancement of his country at any cost, he started the first military invasion of Illyria in 1257, which would later be called the Carillon War. With no resistance to provide, the southern Illyrians retreated to the north, where the mountainous region and more powerful peoples would be able to easily provide protection and stop the invasion. Maverick was forced to stop his invasion at the mountains, but found himself rich in the resources left behind. In response to the invasion the following year, the Draekyrians launched their own invasion force in an attempt to expel Vandeer from his position and restore peace. The assault was nearly successful until Vandeer’s military, able to reverse-engineer southern Illyria’s magic, introduced several new, magically enhanced weapons that quickly repelled the unprepared invasion force in 1258 and killed several dozen Dragons. After the invasion attempt, military movement from all sides ceased completely, with Casuria still occupying southern Illyria and taking various resources.
As the small amount of usable resources seemed to run out over the next several years, Maverick, with his military now magically enhanced with various weapons reverse-engineered from Illyria, started a second invasion toward the north in 1262, intent on taking all of Illyria and its rich resources. Hearing about the invasion, and knowing of the power first-hand, a large Dragon defence force rapidly and secretly moved into northern Illyria, where they confronted the Casurian military. With much greater numbers over the inexperienced Casurian soldiers that had not actually experienced or expected resistance, the Draekyrians were able to drive the military out of Illyria and back toward the capital. When the Draekyrian force pushed the Casurian soldiers back into their territory, various resistance groups organized their own attacks, with assistance from several undercover Dragons, and pushed toward the capital from the west. The two forces met at the capital simultaneously and overtook the capital in 1263, killing Maverick Vandeer and several of his political subordinates.
In 1264, the original political party was put back into power, who expelled the monetary system again and destroyed a majority of the Illyrian-enhanced weapons and technology, returning the country to normal. At the same time, the country’s territory was cut in half vertically. The eastern half of what used to be Casuria became a neutral, universal zone, where the countries could unite and discuss future happenings and concerns. As of 1266, housing developments and townships began to be developed in the new area, with people from all three countries spreading throughout.
Today:
Carillon has existed in peace since the Carillon War. The year is now 1358, and rumours about supporters of the late Maverick Vandeer becoming active again after nearly a century is rising tension again. Many are unbelieving of the rumours, some outright denying that supporters of Vandeer exist, especially after nearly one hundred years. However, if the rumour is true, it could easily lead into a second Carillon War, this time in vengeance...
Species:
Humans: Average, everyday human being. Can be athletic, or intelligent with technology. Very diverse. Often has no magical power, but can obtain or have magical prowess, usually through training. Rituals are not uncommon in some humans, who can gain demonic power.
Dragons: Similar to humans, but more powerful both physically and in magic. Very diverse. Often has some magical power, but sometimes does not. Can range from traditional fire-breathing dragons, to pacifistic dragons, to shapeshifting dragons. Most live in Draekyria.
Demons: Traditional demons. May or may not always have a demonic appearance, such as halfbreeds or shapeshifters, but at least has a demonic-looking form. Not all demons are evil, as some can be good, though they are stereotypically considered to be evil. Usually use dark magic, including rituals, along with superhuman attributes.
Weres: Usually have a human form, but can take an animal form, such as the traditional werewolves. This can range from completely human to completely animal, to always being half human and half animal, or an animal with human characteristics, such as a wolf standing upright with fingers. Can have magical abilities like humans, or be advanced in technology. Often physically stronger than humans. Most weres are a little savage or easily agitated.
Elves: Traditional elves, such as those from Lord of the Rings. Usually better at magic than humans, but, on average, physically weaker. Can be a light or a dark elf, which can use light or dark magic respectively. Very diverse like humans. Can be cruel and cunning, or kind and wise, depending on the individual elf.
Hybrids: Combinations of one of the above species. Often will share traits fairly equally, but the balance between the two can vary. No more than two species can be combined as a hybrid.
Other: Other species that aren’t specifically listed, such as Vampires. I will limit the number of different species allowed, as I don’t want everyone being a different creature.

The horse drawn carriage rolled slowly down the road, stones cruching beneath the heavy hooves of the horse and the wooden wheels of the carriage. Taking a draw from his pipe the driver leant back in his seat, his feat propped up next to the reigns.
Travelling between Casuria and Illyria to deliver spice used to be a risky buissness, but after a few trips the Illyrians began to welcome him and his products.
As he continued down the road for a few more hours, the sun dipped below the skyline and was replaced with a small slit of a moon. Digging into the carriage he withdrew his small knife and lay it on his lap, he had been attacked by bandits once before on this road.
He was nearing the border of Illyria when he noticed what seemed to be an outline of a tent, hidden in the trees to the west of the road. He stopped and squinted at it, trying to make out what was there, when suddenly a bolt from a crossbow slammed into the side of the horse, making it rear and topple over bringing the cart down with it.
Scrabbling to recover he grabbed the knife which had falled beside him and turned around to be faced by 5 figures, all hooded so he couldn’t even see their eyes. The knife was knocked out of his hands quick as a flash and he felt the cold feeling he had felt once before as the tip of a knife blade rested on his neck.
Walking slowly along the road, Kalis kept a weary eye out, noting not only the changes since the war, but those who would hide themselves from his sight...
The petty bandits on the road did not bother him, as he pointedly met each of their eyes before continuing on his way. He had done nothing to announce the fate of their more...agressive comrades, lying hacked to bits in a clearing not far away, but word of such seemed to travel fast among outlaws.
He watched as the ambush took place, hanging back in the shadows as the merchant was brought down. A few decades ago, he would have gladly joined the effort, but as it was, he was content to observe what the man would do next.
-Done-
Maggotface is next
Kyrissa walked idly down the road, her spear, Burmec, resting on her right shoulder. She had been wandering the continent for more time than she could keep track of. She had spent the last two weeks traveling through Illyria and was now headed for Casuria in hopes of finding a new sword. Her old longsword was rather plain, especially when compared to Burmec. Up ahead, she saw a fallen cart. A group of people stood next to the cart dressed in hoods. The merchant among them clearly stood out. Readying Burmec, she called out to the hooded individuals.
On the highest mountain in Illyria sat 5 Elves around a campfire. The night was dark, all that could be seen is the glow of the fire and the warriors that sat around it. Not a star filled the sky that night.
“Quiet night, huh?" Anenos said as he drank from his cup.
“Every night is quiet up here, dumbass” Vestel Snapped at him.
“Calm down,Vestel. Anenos is right, it is unusually quiet tonight." Necard looked worried.
“Watch out, Talina! if you aren’t careful, an army of Orcs will jump out of the bushes and eat you!" Ilylik said with a laugh.
“Shut up, kid! Dammit, why are you always like this? She is your sister, be a little nicer to her." Vestel snapped at him.
“It’s okay, Ves. Where are the boss and Vekras, anyway? What if Ilylik is right? What if something is going to happen?" Worrying as always,Talina curled up and rocked herself back and forth.
“A wolf wandered into one of our traps today, Vekras asked the boss to help her heal it." Necard stated.
“He is so whipped." Vestel laughed.
“Am I now?" Luniko said as he walked up behind her.
Vestel jumped “Boss!? When did you get here? I though you were helping Vekras."
“We finished up a few minutes ago. The little guy is fine now, just needs to rest. Luniko is so amazing” Vekras giggled as she walked up next to Luniko.
Schicksal guild was as easy going as they come. from the nights around the campfire they share, it was hard to tell that they were all highly trained warriors.
Zeus was busy in his workroom as usual. After the war ended, things seemed to have settled down. Or at least, it felt like it did. He felt peaceful in his underground pad, where his workroom, which was also practically his house, was located. No more annoying screaming and explosions. Awesome. He could finally work in peace without getting bothered by some random soldiers. What to do now? So much work to do, so much time. At this rate, he would run out of things to do. Getting bored was the last thing Zeus had in mind, and so he decided to get out of his workroom for once and see the world in its glory. 'Glory' as in full of building debris and corpses lying around. The fact that Zeus' workroom was located in a place that not many people knew about did not help in other people cleaning up the corpses that ended up near the place. But that was besides the point. Zeus took the 3 droids with him, as usual. Won’t hurt to be too safe. He decided to give Alice a visit.
King Boo is next.
--- People are bastard-coated bastards filled with bastard filling.
Umbra walked on the side of the road, hood covering his face. It was a warm sunny day. Even when the sun was not behind he still appeared to be a silhouette. He was searching the area for renegade demons. His job was not of the ordinary reaper, his job was to execute escapees from Hell. Many times demons disguised themselves as human or other mortals. The reason he was at this specific place was because he sensed a strong dark force, which was most likely a demon. Then suddenly a huge energy appeared somewhere in the distance, but not a dark energy, not the energy of a demon, an energy far more horrible...
“You should not see that girl!"* He heard his mother call after him as the young, golden-furred dragon skipped out of the cave. His feathered wings spread as he took off flying, clearing the mountains of Draekyria and settling in the nearby forest. Within a few paces of agilely slowing down, his form shifted in the blink of an eye; he stood on two legs instead, white human skin covering him instead of fur, the only traces of his former form being his golden-toned hair dropping in front of his cyan-blue eyes, and a single golden feather shed in the process of his transformation. He was dressed in plain black boots, covered in the most part by a pair of dark blue jeans. His somewhat signature two-toned blue shirt barely showed through his open black cloak, whose pockets his hands promptly occupied in slight frustration and thought. These quarrels with his parents were beginning to bother him more and more, even though he knew they were in good nature. His parents were not usually strict or harsh on him at all; in fact, they were very open in what they let him do, in comparison to the condescending comments that other dragons gave him because of his behaviour. However, after he met this girl a month prior, and the rumours about Vandeer returned, they turned back on this freedom in place of extreme caution, almost bordering on criticism. As much as he would have liked to say that the rumours were the root cause of worry, he knew the fact that his new friend was human seriously contributed.
“Tyreaus!“ he heard a feminine voice pipe up in his head. Knowing it was his elder sister, recognized by the fact that he had taught her that technique, Tyreaus spun on his heel to face his sister, whom was running to catch up with him. Like he, she was in a human form - another technique he had taught her - though feminine and radically different. Slightly skinny and white toned as he was, she wore a flowing, dark red dress that was mostly concealed by a black cloak that she had hastily wrapped around herself. Her auburn-red hair was styled eerily similar to her brother’s, bangs reaching to her unnaturally red eyes, though was overall much longer and fell around her shoulders down to her waistline, both at the front and back. Stumbling slightly over her bare feet, caused by her inexperience with a human form, she finally caught up.
“Please don’t take what they said to heart,"* Celias said almost soothingly. The siblings had gotten along since they could remember, understood each other and took interest in each other, though she had done that significantly more than he. She simply was quieter than her brother. “They mean it with the most care in mind."*
“I know, but I’ll be fine,"* Tyreaus replied. Knowing his sister was worried like their parents, and knowing no other way to console her, he embraced her gently and softly stroked her strands of hair. As alien as it was, she knew the intent of the actions and sighed. Moving away slightly, Celias slipped a long, black sheathed sword from its concealment in the robe and handed it to her younger sibling.
“This is yours,“ she said softly in slightly broken English. The moment had almost become ritual, and he knew what feelings she meant to convey. Slowly they turned away from each other, Celias walking back to their home and Tyreaus continuing to walk in the opposite direction, carrying the sheathed longsword in his left hand.
Tyreaus continued watching his steps for several minutes until he came out of the forest into a fairly large clearing. He knew he was somewhere in the neutral area, where his friend’s house lay near the centre of the clearing. Rushing water could be heard nearby, just slightly into the woods to the left. Tyreaus picked his steps carefully across the property, walking up to the wooden cabin-like structure. He knew her parents well and lightly knocked on the door, hoping she would answer. They had planned the week before that they would go for a walk together that day, knowing that she needed to get supplies in the market a few miles away. After knowing the girl for a month, he felt that it was time for something new and different. *Translated from the Draekyrian language

The 5 hooded assailants quickly noticed the lone figure standing off with them across the road and drew their swords. After one of them punched the panicking merchant unconcious the 5 of them drew in on the challenger, surrounding her in a semi-circle.
“Surrender now," one of them said, “And you may live to see the sun rise again, Draekyrian."
“I have no such plans to lay down my arms to scum such as you," she shouted, and taking the spear of her shoulder pointed it at the group in front of her, “come."
The leader of the group readied the Katana in his hands, whispered a few words, and then charged at the woman. His comrades readied themselves behind him to help if need be.
Kyrissa raised the spear with one hand and stopped the Katana from slicing her clean in half, and with her other hand unsheathed her longsword and made a swipe at her attackers stomach. He hurriedly disengaged to avoid the sting of the sword and stepped back, regaining a firmer grip on his sword.
He looked at one of his men and whistled, and he went bounding up the hill in a gallop as the 4 other men readied themselves to face their foe.
[OOC from Ty: Verified, it’s fine with Maggot Face, go on]
Kalis watched the leader of the bandits go charging into battle with the women and made a snap decision. He walked into the clearing calmly, until he was standing right behind the circle of oblivious outlaws.
The sound of steel coming free was the only warning for the first of the spectators, as moments later the razor sharp blade ripped through his neck. Rather than drawing its twin, he unfurled a long whip, tiny, segmented blades running its length.
To Kyrissa he called: “I assume you can handle that one?"
Kyrissa smirked at the strange man’s entrance. “It seems you have things under control here. No point in my getting in the way." With that, her shrunken wings burst into full form. With a couple of beats, she was off the ground.
“Vinaesaela, de’a voneshomrastos,"* she said in Draekyrian as she began to fly away towards Casuria. Once the little group was but a distant speck, well out of sight for a human, she completed her transformation into her dragon form. Shifting her path to face Draekyria, she began to fly towards the home she had not seen in months.
The sun began to rise while Schicksal was still laughing around the campfire.
“Hey, newbie, throw some water over that fire. Its about time to turn in." Anenos ordered Ilylik.
“Whatever” Ilylik started over to the lake at the top of the mountain.
“Don’t fall in this time, dork” Vestel joked at him. Ilylik turned around and flipped her off.The uneasy silence still filled the woods atop the mountain as it had the night before.
as he turned back around, he could hear Vekras yell something back at him, but he couldnt quite make it out, he continued towards the lake.
As he reached the lake he leaned down.
~BAM~ 3 bullets flew through his right shoulder.
He flew back 10 feet and rolled another 20.
“Brace yourselves guys” Luniko commanded.
4 members of the guild stood there braced for combat as Luniko and Vekras stood back to heal Ilylik. Another bounty hunt. How many had that been this month? 6? 7? No, this made 10. How long must this continue? Every time Schicksal members asked that question, Luniko always replied 'As long as Human filth still walks this earth'.
Out of the lake popped 3 bounty hunters. 2 humans and a demon. all three were gun wielders.
“This seems easy enough. I’ll take them” Necard said in a cocky manner.
Alice was occupied with practicing his magic. Since most half-elves were discriminated against, he thought it would be best to prove his abilities with what he did best. While taking a break from his training, he came across the picture of him and Zeus. Alice was always fond of Zeus. Zeus was the only person he ever met that did not treat him violently for being a half-elf. While looking at the picture, he was reminded of his feminine appearance. Another reason why he was discriminated against by others around him. The only person who ever understood him was Zeus, and Alice thought of Zeus as his only friend he ever had. After taking few minutes thinking about the past, Alice went back to studying.

"Wha-What could this be?!" Umbra stuttered out loud as the passing strangers looked at him in confusion. He starred into the forest bordering the path he was on, the power was beyond the forest, far far away, even past the mountains in the distance. Such an enormous, evil power was a threat to all of Carillon, Umbra had to find it’s source, and do what he could before it was to late. Umbra sprinted into the forest, beginning his journey for the source of the apocalyptic power.
Umbra ran at high speeds, weaving through the congested trees and boulders. He came to a clearing, he was near the center of the forest, and it was approaching dawn. Something about the clearing was suspicious, so Umbra slowed his pace and scanned the area for any significant energies. He could sense nothing, but still did not feel at ease, so continued slowly while on careful watch. Suddenly the ground around him began to crumble away. “What is this!" Umbra said as he stood in shock.
“Your end foolish reaper." whispered an anonymous voice.
Lupus was in the midst of his training sessions, doing intense pull-ups on a nearby tree. The tree was tough, but not tough enough to support the his weight much longer. The branch was cracking for a couple of reps now,but lupus wasn’t paying attention, when it broke he would stop, and this tested his reaction time.As soon as it broke,he leaped off and took a look at his surroundings.Their was some logs chopped up,trees bent, and some knives stuck in a tree.He really did a number in this forest.
“I think thats enough for today” said an exhausted lupus.
As he was preparing to rest,a shady figure came out of the shade of the tree’s.
“Who is their” said Lupus in a threatening voice.
“Whoa their big guy,i just came to ask you a favor”
said the figure(which appeared to be male.)
Hishik Hefted his sword onto his shoulder and stared down at the body of his latest victim, Thren, The bandit who had plagued this area for the past months catching weary travelers off guard, murdering them, and taking what possessions they had left.
“Bastard” Hishik said with a sigh. “why do they always try to run? its not like they can get away from me”
Shrugging his shoulders he reached into his satchel, feeling around for the Orb he always used to Identify a Kill, He had been tracking Thren for two whole weeks and had finally managed to find him in a local Tavern (Green Tap) trading his “found” goods in for wenches and Ale.
Hishik had been discreet, flowing in and out of street corners following the Bandit and the stench that followed. “Don’t these guys ever take a bath?” Hishik thought to himself. “Filthy scum, oh well I must be grateful without them I wouldn’t have a Job.“Hishik’s smirk suddenly turned to a frown as the Bandit stopped and spun around.
“You thot I would’nt notice yeh? did’ja?" Thren said cackling.
Damn, how did you... Hishik spoke out in surprise.
“I’m no fool Half Blood.“ Thren Interrupted. “I knew you were followin me since we left ol' Green Tap, you Half Bloods ain’t hard to notice.“
Half Blood, Hishik had been called that most of his life. A name given to those not of “Pure” descent. Every time he heard the name he got a bitter taste in his mouth.
Thren bolted.
“Later mut!“Thren yelled as he ran off.
Hishik hesitated then rushed after him in pursuit for what seemed like hours before finding the man doubled over in exhaustion.
“I won’t let yeh kill me!“ Thren said crawling away.
“You don’t have a choice”Hishik replied while grabbing the man by the cuff of his shirt with his left hand and lifting him off his feet, bringing Thren’s face only inches from his own.
“I can give you anything you want.“ Thren cried pleadingly.
“Zynth no ketsou!“Red energy pulsed along Hishik’s right hand and his Great sword Zynth appeared where nothing had once been.
Hishik smiled “The only thing I want from you, Murderer.... Is death..“
Dropping the man to his Knees Hishik brought Zynth down, nearly severing the man in half.
(Back to Present)
Hishik’s hand came to rest on a small orb at the bottom of his satchel. There it was the identity orb, The object that took in information on whomever his sword struck down. He used it to prove that he had completed his bounty upon return to the man he had originally made the deal with.
Hishik turned and watched the sunrise.
“I guess its time to head back to Green tap and turn in”He thought to himself.

Tyreaus swayed on his feet slightly, standing at the door and waiting for an answer. The longer he waited, the more nervous he became, worried he was late or, worse yet, she were in trouble. As scenarios began to run through his head, the door suddenly opened and the girl stood with a smile. She was dressed in a white, buttoned-up shirt, with a very light blue skirt that fell down to her ankles and similarly blue, heeled shoes. Her dark brown hair was tied back into a bun, with some sets of hair falling down just past her shoulders. Her bright blue eyes watched Tyreaus as he bowed, gently took her hand and kissed it, making a slight red colour appear on her cheeks.
“Hey Ty,“ Ellysia said somewhat casually, though still blushing. She had been treated like that since he found her wandering in the forest after running away from home. They never did accept her back, but he managed to take care of her and find her a new adoptive home. It didn’t stop there, either, as he began to bring her nice, somewhat fancy clothing to wear in place of her average, almost tattered cloths. All of it completely in kindness. Yet, a part of her felt bad, unable to repay the deeds that he did that made her feel like a princess.
“Hello, beautiful,“ Tyreaus responded naturally. She liked the compliments and kind attention he gave, something for fifteen years of her life she was devoid of. Without saying another word, he deftly moved to the side and waved her outside, as if letting her out the actual door. “Ladies first.“
Ellysia gently closed the door and followed the lead her friend offered. Even though she initially led by his offer, she slowed down as they walked to the north, stepping side by side with her to his left. They talked casually as they always did, about how life and family was going, other stories and dreams. They fell silent for a few strides before they could see the marketplace, and Tyreaus gently started pulling on her sleeve to follow him into the forest.
“Come on, I have something to show you,“ he said with a hint of excitement. Even knowing she had to get the supplies, Ellysia’s curiosity bested her and she followed him somewhat hastily. In no time, they reached the forest, though the girl was slightly out of breath from the run.
“For pete’s sake Ty, what is it?“ she called after him. He stopped suddenly, looking around to make sure they were alone. Tyreaus hadn’t told her after a month, and felt that she deserved to know. “Turn around, close your eyes,“ he said, breathing a little faster. Ellysia did as she was told, waiting a few moments for him to tell her to turn around. She was never prepared for his voice to appear in her head. “Turn around,“ it said softly. She had thought she was hearing things until something soft and furry brushed her hand. Instinctively, she jumped and turned around, seeing the golden-furred fox-like winged creature in place of her friend. She was initially scared, but as it didn’t move toward her, she saw how adorable it appeared to her. Slowly coming accustomed to it, she reached out to stroke its soft mane, hearing it purr. The creature laid down on it’s front, letting her pet it gently.
“Hello, beautiful, the voice in her head said. Ellysia’s hand flew to her mouth to cover her gasp, and then her slight giggle as she came to a realization. “Oh my God, that’s you.“
As if in a response, the creature nodded and nuzzled her other arm. She smiled and resumed stroking its fur with her hand, whispering softly. “I didn’t know.“
To her surprise, it slowly got back up on it’s four legs, stretching it’s wings out fully as she got up herself, finding herself only as tall as it stood. The creature glanced over its shoulder and lowered itself slightly, enough so she would be able to climb on easily. “Climb on,“ the voice said again. Realizing that the voice was actually Tyreaus', she carefully hoisted herself onto the back of the creature just behind its wings and gently held onto its neck with her arms. Slowly, it started trotting out of the forest, and she was just about to raise her head again when it started picking up speed. Burying her face in its mane, Ellysia closed her eyes tightly as she felt the creature’s powerful wings lift it - and her - up off of the ground and into the air. She managed to keep from screaming, and slowly opened her one eye to look. They were at least a kilometre in the air, and she could see across the countryside and plains. The creature slowed slightly, still staying airborne, and seemed to be gliding evenly in a slow circle. She got up the courage to look around properly, seeing the mountains to the north, the wide landscapes to the west, feeling her hair blow in the wind and not caring that the bun that had held her hair had now come completely undone.
“Oh my God,“ was all she could manage to say as her eyes took in the sight and her body absorbed the feeling.

Azuso looked on coldly as his companion’s body dropped to the floor with a thud, quickly turning his blade around he turned to face the new enemy, as did his allies.
A buffet of wind from behind them that almost knocked them all over symbolised the woman’s depature from the scene of battle.
Biting his lip, and charging with the blade in one hand, aimed to take a swipe to cut his opponent in half at the waist and his friends charged behind him as well.
As the humans were still busy reacting, Kalis completed his train of thought. A single soaring leap had him ten feet up and thirty forward before they had likely even thought to ready their weapons. On landing, he crouched into a sprinters stretch and looked back at them.
“You have about two days before I’m back to decapitate the rest of you," he said conversationally. And with that, he took off. His initial movements would have been blurry to them, but soon, he would be BEYOND their ability to see. In his first few steps, the force began flowing over his body, cushioning impacts, enhancing his strength and speed and allowing him to drift into a state in which he was not entirely relying on physical or mental ability to run. He was quickly clearing bounds of twenty feet with each stride, and taking them faster than any mortal. Kalis had mastered enhanced running long ago, and knew that he could keep it up for hours, or until he hit something more massive than a small table.
Over and ahead the female appeared to have grown larger and...shinier. With his mind free of thought (as necessary to maintain his speed) Kalis would have to wait to muse on the girl’s actions. For now, it was enough to simply close the lead...
(OOC - BTW, he shouldn’t be easily visible to Kyrissa BEHIND and far below)

Kyrissa’s heart swelled as she felt the invigorating sensation of air rushing past her. It had been far too long since she last spread her wings. After a short while, she felt the cool sensation of water on her back and her wings. She looked above her and saw an ocean of clouds. A light rain was falling from them. She rapidly ascended through the collections of vapor and exploded through the other side, wet with condensation. She shook midflight, sending a mist of water outward from her. She wasn’t in the mood to be wet. She continued to cruise at high speed, gazing beneath her at the ocean of thick, fluffy clouds that were just below the reach of her claws. Distracted by this floating wonder, she absentmindedly deviated from her original southeastern path and began flying east towards where the neutral zone, Illyria, and Draekyria met.
As her flight continued, Kyrissa noticed in the distance a furry dragon with what appeared to be a human riding on his back. Kyrissa tilted her head in curiosity. Wanting a closer look, she sped up, getting near to the other dragon. She matched his speed and followed about 10 meters behind, trying to examine the dragon and his passenger. -done-
