This is Ridiculous!

I’m not sure how this is around the rest of the U.S., but I heard a little while ago from a Deputy Sheriff that gas was going to go up to $6.00 a gallon after midnight. Now considering that gas here in nowhere Alabama as of right now averages $3.70 that’s close to double in a price jump.

Now doing the math, if you make $5.85 (minimum wage) and are fortunate enough to work 40 hrs, you’ll roughly have after taxes $200.00. Now lets say that they keep the rationing at 10 gallons and you’ll need to fill up weekly that’s $240.00

Alright so you get paid weekly so that’s $800.00 a month minus the $240 equals $560. That’s 30% of your monthly income or 30% of your weekly income.

It went up $5.00 over here in TN. The gas stations were filled to the brim yesterday.

That’s the way they look here as of about 20 minutes ago, parts of the state are already up to 5.15 a gallon.... Thats also why I haven’t finished you sig yet I went and filled up, cost me $40.00

$5.85? Our state’s minimum wage is $8.07! And it’s supposed to get to $8.50 sometime soon... Why is your state so low?

Alabama sucks that’s why. It just recently raised, was 5.15 for a long time

yeah, the cheapest around here was $3.49, went up to $3.99 today. i filled up yesterday when it was still $3.49.
