If you thought this topic was “pointless”, go to the Off-topic thread. It get’s more “pointless” from there...

And VHS tapes get stuck in the players easily.
Either way there is a flaw.
But I would have to say DVD because you can play them on your Xbox, and computer. With a VHS, you cant shove a tape into the disc drive and play it lol.

Hey I forgot about that!!! VHS tapes getting stuck
inside the video decoder...ha ha ha

DVD obviously, but VHS is much more durable.

DVD, but at least VHS don’t get scratched easly as a DVD “disc”. I’m more relaxed watching a video tape then a DVD disc, at least I won’t be under the impression that I’m going to have to skip/foward/rewind a scene watching a video.

Too bad though VHS tapes get tangled in the video decoder!!

Hey!!! You can say the same thing for me, I’m also
relaxed watching a video tape than when I’m watching a DVD. You never know with a DVD disc....

Besides that though, DVD beats VHS by far. Look at the stuff
you may find in DVD discs:

SPECIAL FEATURES
Trailers
Bonus material
Scene (chapter) selection
Subtitles
Deleted material
Alternative/Extended scenes

and so many more!!!!

You’ll never find that in a VHS tape, hence, that’s why DVD trumps!!!

DVD’s suck balls big time... fuck even dust can ruin a DVD the man chose the DVD because it is less durable and they can make big bucks off people constantly replacing their DVD’s. Memory sticks desperately need to be the future of home entertainment...vhs and cartridge’s (like N64) were so durable you could smash them in half and still play them

do you no how much memory sticks you can hold in an N64 cartridge !?!
