Having Larger consequences brought to my family because there African American.

That they agree too? I wasn’t consulted when these laws were made, that’s why I only follow the laws that I agree with.
Of course you weren’t, you weren’t born at the time, the people thinking in the best interest of everyone in the country a great many years ago did. (And Citizenship is agreement to a country and it’s laws, even if it’s forced on you, no ones saying you have to remain a citizen for the country if you don’t want to keep in line with stability.)
