i agree. the childrens bodies should not be put in the common trash receptacle, but put in a seperate container. like the recycle bin, but for babies.

We should be aborting as many babies as possible. The world population is already to high, sacrifices must be made.

I’ve commented in abortion topics gone by, but see no harm in reiterating my thoughts on the subject:

Perhaps this debate should focus less on whether you think abortion is right or wrong and a bit more on why abortions happen in the first place and what can be done about it.

Who is the most likely to get an abortion? It is not rape victims, simply because this not a common occurrence (I use common lightly). It is not stable happy couples.
It is probably young women, with little support, either financially or otherwise.

There are many reasons why women have unwanted pregnancies; it could be unprotected sex, it could be an accident, it could be consensual but in a bad relationship, or no relationship or an abusive relationship (mental or physical), and yes it could be rape.

Regardless of the reason, making abortion legal protects the women in these circumstances and gives her the option of a safe alternative to having the baby.

Adoption is certainly an option, but being pregnant for 9 months is not an easy thing. You still need support. What if she’s in school? What if she’s poor and does not have the means to properly look after herself. What if she’s a drug user?

Those women who support pro-choice, who make their voices heard, are rarely the ones to use abortion services. Those that speak out are often giving a voice to women who are marginalized, and where abortion may be the best and safest option.

Yes, there are those who are irresponsible, who do or would abuse the system. But there are always people like that, and it is unjust to make those who are really in need suffer because of the stupidity of a few.

Women may feel they have no choice, they may be in a situation where being pregnant could be a real and serious problem. Without abortions clinics available women will try to abort the fetus themselves if they are desperate. It has happened before, it still happens now.

Teach safe sex, not abstinence. Empower women. Make social services available. Offer support.

It’s interesting that people will be so quick to chastise those who have an abortion, but offer no support in the alternative.

And it is sad that you couldn’t care less for the life that is growing in her belly. Just cut the baby out, crush it’s head and chop it into pieces. After all, you call it a “fetus” so you can feel better about the horrible death the baby had. Just so you know, the word “fetus” was first used by pro-abortion forces, not scientists. Life begins at conception as defined originally by the courts until the abortionists got a decision in their favor by a liberal Supreme Court.

Why don’t they WEAR A CONDOM or WAIT IN TILL THERE MARRIED then. If there stupid and reckless then they should deal with the consequence and not have a life be made and taken due to there unwillingness to face the fact they fucked up there own life. Maybe if its made illegal people wont do stupid things as much because they will actually have to deal with the consequence. Also, the say,“Its my body” but that’s just retarded, its your fucking child.

As usual in non-believers you have taken the Scripture out of context and misunderstood it’s meaning. The Psalmist was praising God and referring to the fact that God knows every tiny thing that has, is or will happen from the beginning to the end. It does not mean that God approves anything and everything that happens. Just that he knew beforehand. He gives us freewill to do as we please but He lets us suffer the consequences of our actions.

If I had a daughter that got pregnant I would want her to get an abortion. That doesn’t make it the least bit right.

Which is exactly why I said in one debate that abortion is a matter relevant only to the parents and between them and God and we should not interfere. But these discussions keep coming back and, even I get involved when I shouldn’t.
Your feeling that this subject is not going to do any good is right. No one on either side is ever going to change their mind.

Ok, forget fetus, I’ll use baby if you want, it’s just words.
And it’s not that I care nothing for an unborn child. Getting an abortion is a very difficult desicion to make. Women often feel great remose afterwards, some deeply so.
Abortion is not a win-win situation, and sometimes neither is carrying a baby to term. Sometimes you have to make desicions where you lose out either way. For those who feel that the baby should not be born at all, that it would truly be better that way, an abortion is an option. You don’t have to agree with it, but luckily they don’t have to answer to you.
