Anywho, I have a differing opinion because I think that Conservatism is purely a corrupting influence on democracy.

Well, at least you were joking. As for that, Democrats are different today than they were at the beginning of this country. Its hard to explain, but they have just changed. Like George Washington today wouldn’t be democrat. They have changed their veiws. Thats the wording I was looking for.

The same could easily be said for Republicans. The Republicans of Lincoln’s day are vast in difference to the conservatives of today.

America is facing destruction from within and without. Do you remember the fall of the Roman Empire? Someday someone could write a boof called The Fall Of The American Empire, use The Fall Of The Roman Empire and just change words that applied to each countries problems. The rest of the novels would be interchangable.
