Because the concept of “deserved death” is sick. You can’t prove to people that killing is wrong by killing people. The entire justice system is flawed. Instead of attacking the problem at the root we use a band aid by killing them or sending them to jail. Crime is a technical problem, we won’t stop it by use of threat. You instead find out why the crime was committed and work from there.

For example, maybe someone goes to jail because they stole money. Not much thought is given as to why they stole the money. A common motive would be because they’re poor and they need to survive. Is a criminal someone who steals food to feed their starving family?

yup she’s/hes right

Is execution not murder?

No it isn’t.

A. Im talking about all the evidence found and the person is clearly guilty.

Muderurs deserve death.

Why do they deserve death? Why are you so quick to say they shouldn’t live? Tell me don’t you have a malice intent towards them and think they should die? If you do, that is basically murder. If you think all murderers should be executed(Expecially in the same way they killed some one) is murder in my book.

No.

And yes it does deter crime. Life in Prison doesn’t.

Let me guess, alot of you have Liberal views.

How can people think that execution is wrong, but it is okay for abortion?

Because the fetus is not a person. It is a parasite, it has no ties or relationships with people. It has no value so to speak. Also no the Death sentence does not deter crime.

Murder is defined as a human being killing another human being. Executioners, soldiers and politicians (indirectly) who declare war and scientists who invent new ways to kill people (indirectly) are by definition murderers but for them it’s legal because someone has to do it, right?

All deserve a second chance, if they refuse, they deserve damnation.

The fetus will become a person, your killing a future person.

Someone who has such the dark intent of killing someone, shutting them out of life and making them no longer living is not worthy of death? They had the intent, the desire, the want of that person’s death, and they should live? They have no Care for it, no remorse, just no mind of it, and they should live?

How can you think this?

living with sin is more punishment than dying because of it.

Well, I’d say it depends on what kind of murderers they are.

Technically, without war, we wouldn’t be living.
Its an very crossed subject. War will always be due to human nature.

Murder is not the same as killing. It is the full intent for one person to kill someone and know that it is wrong. Self-defense is the exception.(Wars always have the defender and the attacker, they should protect their lands should they not?)

When you masturbate you are killing potential future children.

You are assuming a few things again:
1. They have no care
2. No remorse
3. No mind of it

You act like murderers are robots when they aren’t.

Im trying to point this part out.

Manslaughter, self-defense, and weird occasions are the exception.

Some people are so far down the path that they don’t care about the sins they do, they actually relish in it.

You mean the complete sociopaths that can’t be helped whatsoever, then yes, I would say that those might as well be put to death. I mean they could be a danger to other prisoners too, though if you keep them in prison they will just get more crazy and it will be more torture that they can’t go out and kill.
However this is usually not the case. Most murderers are not beyond help.

There are 200,000 sperm in each load. I have killed BILLIONS of potential human beings! I have killed entire civilizations with a napkin! I have wiped entire universes off my chest! My girlfriend and I have mass murdered over and over again using her mouth!

I feel no remorse wink

People who love the feeling to kill someone, people who kills for drugs, Drug-dealers that kill because they aren’t payed, and robbers who kill the owner of a house are not robots. They are worse than that.

I have my opinion, you have yours, I see no one changing it.

No they aren’t dude. You know there is a book called “Iceman:Confessions of a mafia contract killer”
and in that book, the writer, who talked to the man a lot actually grew to like him and he became his friend. Yet the dude, if what he says is true, and the book is all true, the man killed 200 people over 30 years. Yet this man could be befriended.

The death penalty makes me feel really depressed because it turns ordinary people into hate filled people who care less about fixing problems than they do about their lust for revenge. I don’t care what the fuck somebody did or how many people they killed, killing them isn’t going to bring anybody back to life or de-traumatize any rape or child abuse victims.

Justice is meant to keep society going by protecting the public, nothing more, nothing less. Once someone is locked up in a jail cell for life they won’t be hurting anybody. You’ve fixed the problem. But you have no right to take life and death into your own hands because of some sense of self-righteous revenge.

These local wildfire disasters has shown me the darker side of so many common people who want these arsonists lynched. It just makes me so sad...
