Please explain what liberals are..

I know this question, but some of you who are republican have been using the term liberal when you might not know what it means so explain please.

Most commonly, however you can be a conservative democrat or a liberal republican.

a liberal is someone who prefers the centrix of power that determines things t obe more i nthe hands of the people, than represnted by the government directly...

in other words, bigger true democratic power ,...

In a nutshell:

Liberals look at personal liberties for all.

Conservatives tend to favor tradition over change.

Really, they don’t conflict necessarily, except that liberals want a great deal of change in today’s time whereas conservatives may wish to keep things the way they are. Neither is inherently bad.

I’m not fond of politics, and the separation that is between these two philosophies is one of the reasons.
