North Korea may have the 4th largest military in the world(I think), but they have nothing on us.

I think we will see a unified Europe, including Germany, fielding the mightiest military in the world soon. the EU will soon be a ten nation conferacy (kind of a United States of Europe) with just ONE leader with supreme power. The EU is working towards that now. If it doesn’t happen before the next war, it will probably happen after a major conflagration involving the US when it falls from major power and becomes almost like a third class country.

As far as Armies go, I’d have to give it to China. There are more people in the Chinese Army than there are in the US. But as far as pure military power goes, America’s #1.

Moses, do you honestly think that China, a nation that can field an military of 200 million, does not have the weaponry to back up that military? Do you honestly think that China cannot almost equal the US in nuclear weaponry?

Don’t be silly, no country that wants to become a world power would ever dare use nuclear weaponry on another in this day and age. That’s pretty much a non-factor.

Against China, America holds a rather massive advantage in the air and in the sea, our ground troops are also better trained.

America is, overall, the most powerful military force on the planet. I’d take the massive Aerial advantage our Air Force provides over the massive numbers advantage on the ground the Chinese provide any day of the week.
