Well, I hope my molecules of my torso and such are still attached since I should still be living in 10-20 years.
As for 10,000 years, I would guess that most of my atoms would become part of the ground (buried) or water (cremated and spread into a body of water).
In 10,000,000,000 years I think the Earth would have been consumed by the Sun by then, so my molecules with either by part of the charred planet that will be Earth, fueling the Sun, or possible compressed into a singularity as a result of the Sun dieing.
But why did you choose to use the word “morbid”? What’s so morbid about what I said?
I’m gonna quote Dane Cook.
“He laughed at me because I believe in Heaven? Hey, buddy, you’re gonna grow into a ficus."
“Now wouldn’t it be funny, if some big sweaty guy with an axe came into the woods, cleaved you down, chained you up, dragged you through the mud and the muk, brought you to the sawmill, brought your dust to the paper factory, and then we print the Bible on him!"
Or, rather, loosely quote.
Okay Ramunematt, what is the harm in having a religion, because [according to you] you’re going to die anyway. Better safe than sorry, right?
There are literally hundreds of different religions today. What makes you feel so safe with your particular religion? Because it says it’s the right one? Every religion thinks it’s the right one. The only reason you feel your particular religion is more right than any other is because that’s how you were brought up. If you lived in India, you would be brought up as a Hindu. If you were born in Japan, you would be brought up as a Buddhist. If you were born in Africa in a tribe, you would be brought up to believe in the Juju atop the mountain. You could be just as wrong as anybody else.
Good point. You are who your parents made you to be in the early parts of your life, unless late on you rebel against it. Here’s a good quote from Lenin along the same lines:
“Give me a child for the first 5 years of his life and he will be mine forever."
— Vladimir Lenin

oh yes, because Lenin was a very sane and logical man.

This question is based off this quote from ramunematt
“But when I think about it, know that on my death, the atoms that have been my body and brain, and created my mind, will return to the universe. They’ll stay around on Earth for millions of years, inhabiting the bodies of countless people and other organisms, but eventually, aeons from now, they will return to the great engines of creation that formed them. The stars. When the earth is a sterile, charred rock,
my body will be part of stars, planets, comets' tails
and brightly shining nebulae. Some of me will briefly fuel a distant sun and be burnt into energy, and the photons that were once me will skim the edges of the universe, spiral into black holes, and maybe illuminate the face of a child looking at the night sky for the very first time. So in a way you do get immortality."
So I offer this question to all atheists here.
Tell me where you think the molecules of your:
Head
Torso
Legs
Arms
Waist
Will be in….
10
20
10,000
10,000,000,000 years
all attached 6 ft under ground....COMPOST BABY!!!lol

I suppose, but I still fail to see whats so morbid about death. It is only one of life’s inevitable processes. It is as natural and normal as breathing.
