A question for fellow theists

If they made a robot that was smart enough to become religious, could that robot go to heaven?

Some people just don’t understand the Golden Rule.

I’m not a theist but I assume you mean Christian heaven.

The answer I would give is no, because God made salvation for man-kind. Not robots.

But robots can sin too. And they can repent.

Robots don’t have souls to be saved though.

But that still doesn’t change the fact they have no souls. They are high artificial intelligence, but they have no souls and in the Bible it was never promised salvation through Christ other than for human beings.

Unless God has separate heavens like animal heaven and robot heaven or something.

Or maybe part of them goes to regular heaven and part of them goes to robot heaven.
