no cause all it would be is words. It wouldnt be genuine. The robot couldnt really mean what it was saying.

I dunno. That’s the point of this topic.

People seem to make a distinction between flesh, and metal. This way you can avoid this prejudice answer.

Terminators have living tissue over a metal endoskeleton, or are otherwise a mimetic polyalloy.

Essentially a robot.

Well how smart would it need to be to become religious? im sure robots have already been made that can say they are religious or want to be. Smart enough to mean it though? Isnt that improbable?

What? you think thats prejudice?

1.
a. An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.
b. A preconceived preference or idea.
2. The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions.

I think your statement fits into that definition.

Define a soul. Why would humans have one and robots not? Break it down enough, they’re both made of the same things so that’s not why. The robot in question has a human nature and is quite religious. So define a soul and why the robot wont get into heaven with one.

not really actually.

A: What facts?
B: So my preconceived idea would be that a robot cannot be religious? Thats true though. So its unreasonable to think that a robot cannot be religious?

So its unreasonable to think that a robot cannot be religious?

Human’s don’t have a special part of them like free will or a soul anyway, our brain is just more complicated than most human made computers (computers are better calculators).

You have no facts backing your preconceived ideas.
