A very interesting site, for both theists and atheists

For both theists and atheists out there, ive found an excellent site refuting several of the most overused anti-theistic arguments on the net.

visit ex-atheist dot com and read some of the articles. i found his story about how he went from christian to atheist and back interesting, as well as his points on the meaning of life without a God. Some of his beliefs differ to my own though, such as his belief that only christians go to heaven. Very interesting site though

I have been to that site actually, When I was a christian that is.

I went to the website, looked at the “can god create a rock so heavy he couldn’t lift it? 'refuted'" argument, and immediately knew this website is complete bullshit. Nothing gets refuted... at all.

And the fact that he was a christian then became an atheist and then a christian again does not validate anything. Even if it did, the number of Christians who become atheists greatly outnumber the atheists who became Christians. Nice try, but this isn’t even a scratch on the “overuse” atheist arguments. Do you know why they are overused? It’s because no one can refute them!

So i guess you went to the website looking for faults? Try reading a bit more of it, without acting like an arrogant prick. And people call theists ignorant...

BTW, this “Hired Gun” guy that the website keeps talking about... telling from the sheer ignorance and recycled theistic arguments that I saw in their posts I am fairly certain I can win their ass over in a debate anytime.

its kinda hard to explain...but, i just finished reading this guy’s testimony, basically the story of his life. he used to be a hard core ashiest, arguing against christianity 24/7. the kinda guy who knows the bible better then most christians. and, how matt reacted to the sight, its exactly how he described himself. its...interesting.

just a note, by the sound of it, this guy is the kind of person who pretty much debates professionally. remember matt, a debate isn’t about whether your right or wrong. its about who can outsmart their opponent.
