Door to door....

Like salesmen they come.....only even sneakier.

I’m in the middle of getting ready for work when the door bell rings.
I answer it to find two middle aged white guys with a little booklet that says “Global Warming” on the front.

“Do you think man will ever solve the problem of global warming?" One man asks

“I really don’t know” I reply

They then try to give me this global warming booklet along with another one hidden underneath.

I polietly say no thank you, and that I’m an environmental studies student

“But, this is about what god’s going to do about it” he explains, “let me read some passages to you."

Again, no thank you and I return upstairs.



Only earlier this week did I have two women at my door selling something similar.



I don’t understand how they think being door to door salesmen is a good way to spread the word of their god. This is not a product I am willing to buy.

I have mormons at my door on a regular basis. Whenever they knock on the door my dog starts barking like a maniac. When I answer the door I say, with a straight face “oh, that explains it. He’s trained to attack mormons”.

This happened to me. The first time I politely told them I’m not interested, that I’ve already strayed from the religious path. I wished them good luck then shut the door.

A week later or so they came back. I told them they’ve already visited this house. They stated it’s the work of the Lord to bring the blind to the light. So it seems they are calling me blind for having different beliefs. I said, “Hey, that’s cool you want to spread the word of God. But I’m not interested. So don’t come back."

A few days later they came back, again. I told them to stay off the property or I’ll call the cops. That was a few months ago. Haven’t seen them since. If they come back again I’ll have to do a more posing threat.
