What do u think of religions like Catholicism, where Evolution/ big bang/ abiogenesis and science in general is accepted as correct? In Catholicisms case teh bible is interprted as metaphor, a few of wich ive sed on here a few times.
Also, why have people drawn up battlelines so its Science Vs. Religion? Science is neutral, and is not against religion at all, though they can contradict.

Thats a common misunderstanding in America.
In Europe the Catholic Church is very “modern”. John Paul 2 himself said science was correct, as had many popes before him (Although the media pretty much ignored it because they wanted to continue the “War” between science and religion.) Basically, some of the ways the church differs from many others (or more that they differ from it, Catholisism has more followers than every othr christian church combined, over 1 billion) is that in our faith, the bible is not taken literally, everyone except evil people without remorse for their actions (Ian Brady, Mayra Hindely) goes to heaven, irrespective of their religion. also, the church considers all faiths to show aspects of God.

To be fair, most forms of Christianity are relatively open to scientific explanations of most things. It’s mostly in these backwards 'bible belt' states where they’ve been brainwashed by redneck educational standards that they tend to take creation myths literally.
