There will be a NOVA tonight on the trial of Intelligent design back a few years ago. For those who don’t know what intelligent design is, just take the word God out of the bible and replace it with “Intelligent designer” and that’s it. Watch the creationists get pwned!

For those who think it is nerdy or stupid to be watching NOVA on PBS, tommorow morning you can go drag your uneducated ass over to a fast food restaurant where you will be serving burgers at for the rest of your miserable life.

Yeah I seen it.
If a Conservative Christian judge appointed by Bush can see intelligent design as religious and unscientific, well yeah, that really says something.
But I don’t care if they have it in private schools.

Am I a creationist if I say I believe in ghosts because of my experiences?

No, you’re a creationist if you think the world was created in 7 days, a few thousand years ago. You would also believe dinosaurs and humans coexisted.

Absolutely not. Creationist believe the universe was created by a superior being.

You and your ghosts is something totally different. Although, I must say, believe and ghosts and god is quite similar considering both require faith in the supernatural. Both, though, could easily be explained by a mind over matter thing as well. People see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe. If your brain is able to bring color to a seemingly colorless world, I’m sure it can give the appearance of the supernatural as well.

Yea essentially this. I always thing the debates between Creationists and evolutionists are usually quite entertaining. Mainly because they are generally quite one sided. Evolution side always presents the facts and creationist side ONLY presents the inability to disprove god. Quite funny haha.

Thats why I try possibly to debunk what I think is a ghost.

Is there a term for someone who believes in the possibility of a higher being but isn’t completely sure?

It’s funny until they start calling you an anti-christ and get all defensive :/

There’s so many damn kids like that at my school!

You have no idea how funny it was in Biology 2 years ago when half our class was creationist and our Biology teacher showed a documentry of Darwin. One just walked out of the class. He was later marked for ditching ha ha!

Yes the human brain is one of the most powerful things in our world so it always humors me that people try to downplay its importance. They first seek to explain something with the likely impossible than the logical possible. It is much more likely that you are hearing voices rather than a dead person’s personality haunting people for their own humor. Especially considering, the soul is the human brain.

Luckily you and I are sensible about these things.

Yeah, although there is pictures and videos I can’t explain.. but I do not believe orbs give any evidence at all.

Yea they are pretty funny when they get all defensive but mainly rude. I guess when your backed in a corner with illogical ideas, anyone would go a little crazy. Hard to defend the illogical when something logical presents itself haha.

Oh well of course. There are lots of things we can’t explain. Lots of things though we couldn’t explain and eventually explain later. Gravity always seems to be the main one. It used to be believed that what kept you on earth was all your sin to keep you from heaven. Of course the real answer is gravity.

Also used to be thought that bathing was evil as you cleansed away god’s natural “juices” and it was immoral. Also after the Black Plague it was thought bathing is what spread of the disease and that’s why they didn’t bathe.

Lots of things are presented that are later proved false. Most of it because it’s people are ignorant and arrogant. When they can’t answer something they still have to provide an answer. It’s called a truth claim and most are false. Luckily our scientists of the day don’t claim anything until they have undeniable truth which is a lot more justifiable.
