If that’s true, then why is that we don’t see every atheist committing crimes? And why is is that atheists have the smallest prison population?

Religion isn’t the only social restriction preventing people from committing their deepest desires, ramuenmatt.

So answer me this. If God makes all my choosers for me and I don’t believe in him then is it really my fault that I don’t go to haven but hell when I die. I would say its hes fault huh

And why where at blaming him for every thing there is one or two other things I would like to kick him in the balls for as well hahah

Me nether.

To be honest with you I think the hole religion thing was made up eons ago in an elaborate attempt to control the masses. And it worked.

Just look how rich the church of england is. There are not that other many movements are even businesses that have moor money and resources available to them.

Even if thats true it still proves Itachi wrong.

How does it? All he said was “absolute free will”, and you took it as “Atheism”. The law and social taboos are restrictions also. Ie: this wasn’t about religious law but you made it sound that way and threw out all the other social standards, laws and consequences of doing what the most societies consider wrong.

Assuming the Christian idea of God is real, then we are all acting in accordance to God’s will. Everything is going according to his own plan.

Going by this belief, free will is nothing more than an illusion, as every action, inaction, etc is already carved in stone.

For example: assuming God exists and everything that’s meant to happen will in fact happen, then no matter how I try to convince myself otherwise, I did not have any choice in writing this post. It was destined to happen and I had really no choice.

It’s like if someone writes a play. Everything that is going to happen will happen. There’s no denying that. The end outcome will be the same and no one can change it. The characters on the stage may look like they have free will or thought, but in reality have no say in anything. Should God exist, he would be the director, us the actors, and the world the stage.

Why is god so weak he can’t handle his own paradoxes?
