Hey theists.

I understand a theist’s desire to defend their beliefs when they are put in the spotlight, but remember, there is NEVER a need for hostility. And there is no need to place a line between theism and scientific beliefs.

Just thought I’d put that out there. There’s absolutely no need for hostility, harshness, derogatory statements, or anything of the like.

So so true. But sadly now days thiests and everyone else are so hostel towards other peoples beliefs, it’s kinda sad. ( Not saying that everyone does it, but a lot of people do.)

And atheists do it too.

Am I saying all of anyone does it? No! Not at all.

I think the conversation I just had with Zucas proves that beliefs can be discussed without being derogatory or hostile.

By everyone else I meant atheists too, not saying that they all do it, or even a majority, but like relgious people, they both do it, but not all of them. Only the ones who won’t listen to other people’s opinions, and people that think that their belief is better or above other people’s, which I absolutely can’t stand.

Same for me.

I definitely am not gonna say my belief is better than the others. Why? I don’t know that.

You really could say that I more or less follow my own religion in a way.

I agree, hostility = no.

Some people just don’t understand the Golden Rule.

It’s a natural human reaction that isn’t limited to simply theists. When someone believes strongly in something it is only in their brains to fight for it. And really also to spread it amongst others. Just how the human mind works.

Yet its being able to have self constraint, respect, and dignity towards others that make some of those standout from those things. It’s actually going to be pretty hard for most people. Best thing to go around in life is that you can have your opens but always be willing to question those opinions.

still many of it’s ppl keep those great roots in which jesus thought but this pope oh geez and look at da news, it’s filled with it’s worst nightmare
