I am not christian and do not believe in sin. As for Jesus, if I’m assuming he died for our sins and assuming he is God as well, the only reason God even created us and wants us in heaven is to worship and love him. God is unabashedly selfish, to the point of even calling himself Jealous. So Jesus died to save our sould so we can get into heaven and worship/love Him... It’s not hard to find the selfish base.
I don’t agree with his point, I feel he is overlooking that doing something you desire to do (like giving away money) is giving in to your desire. You desires make you feel good, that’s why you desire them. You help people because it makes you feel good to help others.
Again, this concept is only hard to grasp I think for those that feel selfishness, or a better term “not selfless” is a negative trait. Caring for one’s self is not a bad thing people... especially when other benefit from it too!

Accidents are not actions, they are unintended results. So no, accidents are not selfish because they are not actions. The point we made is that there is no such thing as a selfless action.

kAY, so I’m drinking with my neighbor. Note: he has been drinking beer since 10:30 AM in tha fawking morning on Sunday. We hung out all day, had a BBQ for the kids, etc.. At the end of the night, he basically forced “Thge Book Of Mormon” on me. I rejected and then shit started getting flared up. Not by me. Oh noes.. You should have seen the fiery, pissed off look in hiss eyes while trying to defend his Mormon religion. I was calm and asked the right questions. I cannot belief how diluted some of these fawkers are. I mean first of all, he’s trying to force me to read the book of Mormon, 2nd he’s drunk as fawk (yeah, great representative you are, you fawking clown), 3rd he’s got a crazy fire look in his eyes while yelling to prove his point.. Eventually I had enough and said, “look at you, you’re all pissed off trying to prove your religion out of 1000 religions are THE RIGHT ONE! Not only that, your out of control, BUDDY! Now I’m a nice guy and all, but don’t you EVER talk to me with that attitude, especially about your bullshit religion, or there’s going to be problems!
What do you think, Should I offer him dental and health and beat the ever living shit out of him? No, I told him calmly “I need to go”. I walked in the house, bench pressed weight out of control, got up, punched the bench a few times and I was good.
He’ll come up and apologize to me tomorrow because he knows he’s a fawking drunk idiot. He always tells me, “Man, I’m an idiot. You would have kicked my ass but you’re a nice guy”.
What if I decide not to be a 'nice guy' one of these times? Hmmm?
Now here I am, holding back and being non-confrontational about it all and I’m not religious. Here’s this religious freak getting angry and upset trying soo hard to prove his religion is correct. Now I know I have the power to do with this fawker at will. Yet I keep it calm, and hold my power, as much as I wanted to blast his ass into next week, I proved to be the better person, religious or not.
Just goes to show, religious freaks are mentally fawked in the head. I can see now why wars are caused in the name of religion based off this religious idiot and his mentality. What a fawking dumbass!
The fact that I am not able to simeltaneously answer every single response to all of my posts that I get before I log off doesn’t mean I’m stumped.

She fed the child because her parental instincts gave her a good feeling for feeding the child, thus improving her own wellbeing. Exactly. If a god created us he would have done it in some way for himself. I fail to see though, why a “perfect”, omnipotent, omniscent deity like the Christian God would have the desire to create anything to make himself happier.

Your empathy for others evolved as a means of preventing human (and perhaps other species) destroying their own society. People wouldn’t want to act with empathy if it didn’t make themselves feel good, however, so evolution tricked them into getting a kind of good feeling from helping others (It’s a bit like sex; If it didn’t feel good people wouldn’t want to do it all the time). Empathy for animals and other non-human things is a misfiring of this, but it still, ultimately, convinces the helper to assist others to improve their own wellbeing. Altruism as a trait is completely non-existant.
lol I R GUY, Mormon missionaries come over my house all the time, they always give us their bible, we never read it and we end up storing them in this room around the back. I got about 5 around there, so one time the hamster got loose and ate the pages out of one, out of all the books around there, it eats the Mormon bible, it was funny to see some other missionaries response when we told them our hamster ate their bible. Seemed like they wanted to cry.
